No fee. Beautiful mansion but honestly it doesn't worth the visit. If you're in Baton rouge, you can stop by. We drove all the way from New Orleans to visit the mansion but we wasted our time. You're free to explore all the rooms, leaflets at your disposal at the entrance. Easy parking around.

Me and my family attempted to visit and confirmed on the site it was open from 9 am - 4 pm. We arrived around 9:45 am on a Tuesday morning. There was a note at the staff entrance to call for assistance. There was no answer after multiple attempts. Then a man drove up who appeared to be an employee. He saw us and did not speak or ask if we needed any help….. nor did he respond to my attempts to get his attention. We were excited to tour the mansion and very disappointed by the lack of...

Pretty and stately like an old plantation home. The room with the wall murals and the circular staircase were my favorite. The Christmas decorations are tasteful and understated. And the smaller trees with ornaments from school children were too cute. For $100 you can have your name carved into one of the bricks around the patios and walkways. It's a fundraiser for the foundation that maintains...

I played bass for a party here. All local socialites from Amite, LA. Governor John bel Edwards was there. It was my 2nd time playing music for him. He's a really great guy, and he has restored this mansion to its former glory. The security staff were all top notch, professional and kind. If you get a chance to come here, you're in...
