The service here is great. The owners are on site and they are so friendly. In fact the owners cook most of the food. The other staff are great as well. The problem with the place is the food is just okay. The Sensazn salad is $6.50 and then an additional $2.50 for chicken. This is not a horrible price for a downtown eatery. The sides that I chose were, again, just okay. Out of all of the sides I ate the brussel sprouts were the best. The broccoli was well seasoned, the green beans had a little kick to them and they were okay, the bok choy was good, but the brussel sprouts were really really good. They do have a breakfast menu that I plan to check out I plan to get the omelet in fact.

My fiance and I met up here for lunch to try they're new menu featuring Asian sandwiches and loaded fries and wow was it delicious! The French bread they get from a new orleans bakery and it was perfect! The Choo Choo's Hot fries (pictured) were sooooo good! Asian buffalo chicken with kimchi! The Sappari Senpai was also delicious and reminded me of an Asian inspired shrimp poboy. Everything had great bold Asian flavors! We will definitely go back to try the other sandwiches!

I'd say for a $10 lunch, this is legit! A friend recommended I try the fried fish so against my better judgement, I did and I was pleasantly surprised! It took a few minutes but I didn't mind because they cooked it fresh. My fries and fish were still crunchy after I walked back to my desk and I didn't even realize it came with a salad! So if you need a quick lunch, I'd definitely recommend. They also have the Chinese food on the line so it's even quicker!

Delicious, flavourful, AND healthy food with EXCELLENT service. 10/10 food and experience.

The tagline “Southern Based/Asian Taste” couldn't be more true! The Signature Bowls each have their own enchanted flavor/taste (shout out for the Mala Spicy), but the build-your-own-bowl is where customers can really make the magic happen!

From Jake Clapp's article in the advocate: "Bowls start with a base of rice, chilled noodles, lo mein or mixed greens, and can be built with protein — chicken, pork, steak or shrimp — and a variety of vegetables, sauces and garnishes".

Whatever combination of base/veggies/protein/garnishes/sauce you come up with, chances are that it won't dissapoint!

If you haven't tried the Sloppy Zhou, you need to NOW. The "Sloppy Zhou" is traditionally braised pork garnished with cilantro and peanuts, and it is out of this world good. Grab one to go with your bowl to try...you won't regret it!

Chow Main by far has the most personable owner alive (Austin Wong), a friendly and accommodating staff, AND serves delicious AND healthy food...so what more can I ask for as a...

This is my work experience at chow main. He took advantage of my kindness leaving me by myself to work. I worked 9-3 only to be shorted on my checks. I left in April because he made an inappropriate comment about my 17 year old daughter. He begged me back and like a fool I went only for him to short me on my hours. Now, his restaurant is very unsanitary. He leave food in the cooler and freezer uncovered getting freezer burnt. He leaves sweet potato filling In the cooler and jus makes a few at a time leaving the rest in a bowl in the cooler for months. Then when he needs more he uses what’s left over from the time before. He left boudin in the cooler for two weeks and it collected condensations and still served them. Be aware people. He sells things that are not fresh at times. I was all about costumer service and treated people like I would want to be treated so now that I’m not there he will sell just to...
