Lawd Have Mercy!!!!! This place is phenomenal. The food was outrageous. The taste was superb I honestly dont have the words to describe how good this place is. So you walk in and the decor is pretty cool very asian fusion anime inspired. The way it works is you pick your protein. Idk if the menu changes but they had braised beef (🤤🤤) shrimp or chicken. I got the braised beef but the shrimp and chicken looked great. You pick if you want rice or sweet potatoe noodles the noodles looked wild cause they are see through but we're incredible. Then the veggies, I tried the kimchi slaw not my favorite just wasn't for me. The sauce is what really brought oit the dish I had the soul sistas and the Ot. Which the young lady recommended and she did not disappoint. I cant recommend this place enough. It's nestled in down blink and you can miss no real signage or anything that really catches the eye except for a sandwich board sign outside. The seating is very lifted maybe about 4 tables so get there fast and enjoy. I paid 20.69 I believe because I got a water a and topo Chico with mint and lime ufffffff!!

Having heard that there was a new Korean restaurant near me I wanted to give it a try. It took me weeks to remember and then act on that memory. It was worth the wait. OKKI TOKKI moved into the space the Jambalaya Shop once occupied on the outside ground floor wall of a parking garage. The new owners completely redid the interior making it a surprisingly welcoming space. The food consists of a "build your own" bowl with a multitude of choices from which to select at five stations. Yes, FIVE stations. That provides a very large number of possible variations. I chose the sweet potato noodles and the braised pork rib meat as the base for my initial bowl then added kimchi, red cabbage, corn, and more. In the end, it was a DELICIOUS meal! I also added a melon drink that tasted very much like drinking a ripe honeydew melon. The drink added another dimension to my meal. I recommend eating at OKKI TOKKI. The only caveat I have is that seating inside is limited so be prepared to go elsewhere to actually eat your bowl full of deliciousness.

Okki Tokki 549 Main St, Baton Rouge, LA 70801 Hey, guess what? Okki Tokki on Main St. in Baton Rouge is awesome! It's like a mini Korean Chipotle – you pick your noodles, rice, or salad, then your protein (chicken, beef, or tofu), sauce, and toppings. Seriously, you gotta try it! I got the Killa Perilla sauce with Korean fried chicken and galbi with noodles; also the OG sauce with galbi and fried rice. And don't forget the sweet and savory hotteoks, and the mandu! 1. Killa Perilla sauce with both korean fried chicken and braised galbi with noodles and condiments. 2. OG sauce with braised galbi, fried rice and veggies. 3. Sweet Hotteok (Walnut & brown sugar filling). 4. Fried Mandu (Korean dumplings). 5. Savory Hotteok (savory pancakes) #tonylameats #koreanfood #okkitokki #batonrougela #foodie #foodadventure
