Iâm here to comment on the owners ever changing comments under reviews. First it was the building owner called police, then it was the ânew building ownerâcalled police, and now thereâs a letter about it from the property owner. Itâs so hard to keep stories straight when you canât decide which one to go with. I looked up the property owner. The property owner has been the same since 2000. The only new tenant that was very vocal per local word of mouth has been the owner of bobs stix who has changed his comments on two of these reviews twice today since I read them and looked up the property owner. I am reviewing the owner, not his restaurant. Based on the owners comments and what Iâve read on the community thread I will never set foot in there. I actually considered trying it but then I saw the community thread and heard what happened with the car show and came here and read his comments and then read his oh my bad it could be a her or a them or a they or an it I guess who am I to judge or assume gender of this individual owner. Anyways the owner of bobs stix comments included threatening to sue one of the reviewers. Everyone in this town knows today what happened and most will now not have anything to do with this business. Go ahead threaten to sue me too. I go the screen shots. I know you lied about who the owner was. The property owner has owned that place since 2000 but go on try again. Youâve already proven to me that you are a liar.
Now letâs discuss your business model here. You have 3 pages of drinks with boba but donât say until the end of page 3 thereâs no boba in the drinks unless you ask for it. Is the name of the business not boba stix? One would assume the drinks would have boba in them since you do advertise them with boba . Iâm just saying thatâs kinda tacky maybe putting that on page 1 instead of page 3 would have been a better option. Diamond house was way better and didnât whine about a car show that wasnât in front of their store front. Usually businesses want customers and donât want to piss off the whole area that loves cars. You are the only change to that area and no one here believes in coincidence. Also you were already caught lying in your own comments. Iâm only leaving a review because you deserve one from what Iâve heard and for the disruption of our traditions in this town. You come to our town and expect us to change just because you came. You will not see our money. Hope you counted all the cars and people because that is all the business you could have had and...
Read moreI rarely leave bad reviews, but after today I felt I had to share my experience. The boba drinks here are actually pretty good â no complaints there. However, the food is a completely different story. Iâve given this place two chances, and both times were disappointing.
The first time, I ordered the wings. They tasted like they had just been reheated and had little to no flavor. I decided to give it another try and ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. Unfortunately, it was even worse. The rice tasted old, like it had been sitting for days before being reheated â some pieces were even hard and inedible. The chicken didnât taste fresh either and definitely didnât have any teriyaki flavor.
I would NOT recommend ordering any food here unless youâre okay with what feels like leftovers.
Response to the ownerâs comment, Thank you for your response. However, I have to admit that it came across as a bit rude and made it seem as though I wasnât being truthfulâespecially since you mentioned that youâve never received feedback like mine and also stated that you couldnât find my name or an order for the day I left the review. For clarification, I posted the review the following day. My fiancĂ© was the one who placed and paid for the order, which included a teriyaki bowl, a strawberry lemonade, and a Thai tea with boba, totaling $38.21 on 10/6. I want to emphasize that I would never lie in a review. I was genuinely disappointed with the quality of the food, which is what prompted me to share my...
Read moreBoba stix is the only local boba shop in the Brainerd/Baxter area (that I know of) and we love going there. They have wonderful boba, each time I get my regular flavor, honeydew milk tea with strawberry popping pearls, itâs just as good as it was the first time. I tried the food for the first time today and it was DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend the honey butter chicken rice bowl!! We also got a Nutella crepe cake and it was so good. She has different flavors every so often! They have regular and large size cups for boba, and they are between $6-$8. The rice bowl was $18 which isnât bad for how tasty it is! There was a group of people that was here before us, and the workers made sure we were welcomed and told theyâd be with us. I definitely recommend Boba Stix to...
