Cranberry Creek Cascades — Attraction in Beckley

Narrow road leading down. One vehicle at a time. The road looks abandoned. Park at the end, before the bridge. Walk down the homemade steps, a bit loose. Follow the unpaved skinny path down and around. You can get right next to the falls. I am assuming you can swim in the falls during the summer. I had a bum knee, but was able to walk to it. Not handicapped friendly. Pets allowed....

Beautiful right now! Easy short walk on well maintained trails to this waterfall to the left, and another waterfall to the right. Both are lovely.

There was a good amount of trash at the 2nd waterfall that came down the creek when it flooded the banks last month. Makes me sad. I'll head back there soon with trash pick up gear and get at least some...
