Sunnyland Square — Attraction in Bellingham

Have patience in this very busy undersized parking lot there is no Trader Joe's in Canada and it is a magnet for Canadian guests as the items go for big resale prices Pirate Joe's (Trader joes resale store) I personally don't know what everyone sees about Trader Joe's everything is pre-made and shipped from Montreux via California or further as far as I can tell. With Frozen stuff from China sometimes being announced when there is a recall. President Trump made it so we no longer have to label where food comes from, so no there shouldn't be anything wrong with a frozen meal from China or a sandwich from California, but i can often tell with the freshness or so, the products arent very local. ALSO Home to a laundromat a Papa Murphy's a garden nursery and a woman's consignment store. Across the street is Deals Only (a bargain liquadator store) and a burger joint called the Filling Station. I recently visited Sunnyland Square in Bellingham, Washington, and I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The primary draw for most visitors, including myself, is undoubtedly Trader Joe’s, which always delivers with its unique offerings and friendly service. But it’s worth mentioning that Sunnyland Square is more than just Trader Joe’s. The strip mall houses a variety of other businesses, each contributing to the overall value of the place. These establishments, though perhaps overshadowed, hold their own and offer decent services and products. Mediocre shopping center has gone downhill since Regal Cinema closed their Sunset location. What remains is a few anchor shops love Joanne Fabrics and Goodwill that have no other location, making commerce at the Square and inevitability.

The Safeway grocery store is part of the Albertsons push to monopolize the grocery trade in Bellingham, making for higher than average prices. Sunset Drive/HWY 542 traffic outside of the square is horrendous, particularly at rush hour, and gridlock is common.
