We had just finished a bit of shopping at Trader Joe's in Bellingham when we noticed a Bubble Tea shop called Bliss Tea. This was the first time we'd seen a Bubble Tea shop in Bellingham and as we're huge fans of Bubble Tea, we decided to give it a try.
The shop is very clean and the people working there were friendly. There are seats and tables for you to sit and enjoy your drink immediately if you don't feel like taking it to go.
My daughter ordered a Mixed Berries Yogurt drink and I ordered a Black Sugar Ice Blended Milk Tea. Both drinks were very flavorful. I found though that the yogurt in my daughter's drink was a bit too heavy for my liking. The Black Sugar drink was extremely sweet; a bit too sweet for my husband's taste. My daughter and I both have a sweeter tooth than him, so we were able to enjoy the drink; however, I could understand how my husband found it to be too sweet.
We've definitely had better Bubble Tea in other places, but this place is a pretty good option for Bellingham where there really doesn't seem to be many places for Bubble Tea. I'd happily come back here again.

Read moreThey were busy when I arrived on an early Monday evening. I noted that newer boba shops—like this one—were so stupid in concocting weird drinks like "cream cheese foam covered QQ" and "yogurt drink" that they didn't even know how to make a basic smoothie or the difference between a "smoothie" and "slush."
Thus, I reluctantly settled on their "mango yogurt drink" and "chicken wing & fry combo" (of course, my normal choice of popcorn chicken was out, with an hour still left before closing).
The eatery must have found itself a steady supply of anorexic chickens because those wings were outrageously tiny. Accompanied by equally meager quantity of stringy, unappetizing fries.
Plus, I discovered that a yogurt "drink" versus a yogurt "smoothie" was like the difference between yesterday's boba and freshly cooked ones.
Did I divulge the cost, or had you already deduced a pattern from other patrons' reviews? Well, absolutely the most expensive I'd ever paid, at over $20 for basically a kid's meal. It'd almost be worthwhile to stay the heck away from this pricey tragedy and drive down to Seattle, for more sensible...
Read moreI’ve heard the bubble tea isn’t bad (haven’t had it myself) but was really excited to go cause they have egg waffles on their menu. Went in to order one (it was literally listed on the menu behind the server) and was informed that they aren’t actually serving them yet cause they’re still working on their recipe. I was frustrated cause it’s listed online and in person on their menu with no mention ahead that they don’t actually currently carry the item, so I drove all the way there just to turn back around. Hoping to get to try one someday since no where else in bham has egg waffles. Prices also seem a little high, they seem more like Seattle prices than...
