Ya-Ua Boba Tea — Restaurant in Belmont

I am so sorry, I don't wanna butcher his name, Chen? My friend and I locked ourselves out of our car. I went into Ya Ua Yogurt to ask if they had anything to help us get in. Chen came out and tried to help us for about 30 minutes, until our AAA came. He was relentless, and insisted on trying to help. We had never met him before, but was moved by his wanting to help. After being in the sun all that time, I went in to buy some bob drinks. To my surprise, the place so unbelievably affordable. The variety was great and the shop itself was cute and quaint. A chance/unfortunate encounter, turned into meeting a great person and finding my new fav. boba place! If this business is anything like his compassion to help others, they're going to do amazing things!

Ya-Ua is my go to boba place in Belmont. Really, I mean this place is just great. They have everything you want; a cute atmosphere, pastries, tasty fro-yo, awesome milk teas and great customer service. The bubble teas here are quite good and they do no skimp on the boba. Their frozen yogurt is surprisingly good and they have tons of toppings to pile on there. Even flavors like salted caramel corn are absolutely delicious. Honestly I haven't tried their red velvet cupcakes or green tea waffles yet. If their other stuff is any indication, I will love them when I try...

WEAK Tea, Weak Seal, Weak Service! Holder with two drinks tipped over and exploded. I sent my kids back in to get napkins and replacement while I tackled the mess and he charged them! The seal should have held, but he said it wasn't his fault and of course they needed to pay again. I've seen people turn a boba upside down and not have a leak! Ridiculous. Also in the 20 minutes it took to clean up there wasn't a single other customer. Not shocking....
