I come often with my dog Danny Boy. This is a great park for kids to play in the playground. There is an unplanned morning gathering of dogs everyday on or around 0800. Almost always different individuals plus some regulars. They are all very good about picking up after their dogs. They even assist picking up after other dogs Incase it was unseen by the owner. Everyone is super friendly, and they make you feel like a local! Each time I have visited, children are well behaved and parents seem very relaxed. This is a very family friendly park and it seems the community has a heart felt connection to this park! There is a small amount of parking near the tennis courts, and a variety of parking on the curb around the park. Summer in this park is my favorite, but snowy winters here are super fun with the small hill towards the end of the park. This park just got a renovation, and they are finishing it up. The newly planted trees look nice, and the grass looks fresh in both the soccer fields and the baseball fields.

Parking: street spots always available with no permit required. Bike racks also present. Wood chips and grass. Very little shade. 2/3 playground benches are in the shade. Not busy even on the weekend. Fence only goes around 3/4 sides of the playground. The other side is open to the basketball court. Lots of swings ( baby and regular, + 1 accessible swing). Large grass field with walking path around it Across the street from a cemetery.

I bring my dog here around 8:30 on weekdays and 9:30 on weekends and he loves it. All the people are realy nice and responsible dog owners and they manage their dogs easily. The dogs never go into the playground where there are usually small children and their owners stop the dogs from going in the playground.
