This place is why Brick and Mortar stores will always be, in my mind, the best way to shop for the hobby. Getting to hold the items, tools, and miniatures in your hand is the very enjoyable. It also allows you to be certain of what you are buying.
They have an amazing selection of paints for miniatures and offer multiple brands, from GW, Citadel and The Army Painter.
The staff seems very knowledgeable and were at hand to answer any questions I had, but they weren't in your face pushing you to purchase the latest and greatest. I feel i could get honest feedback and choice selection and not just be guided into the most expensive options.
There seems to be ample space in the adjoining area inside to play all manner of games.
It is a little bit of a drive out of my home area but if I am ever near by I will definately be stopping. Especially nice is the fact that they do offer their items online as well and you can can customer loyalty reward points towards...
Read moreIve visited this store a few times both in the old location and recently the new. Staff are usually pretty friendly and I've bought plenty of dice and a couple games, source books and models/figures as well. I went in on Saturday 1/11 and bought several (20ish) packs of pokemon boosters (temporal forces/paradox rift/stellar crown) When I got home I was opening the packs and found one of the Stellar crown packs was empty! The cardboard holding the pack was still glued and while I didn't check before, it didnt appear to be damaged or tampered with. I figure it's a fluke and stuff happens and wanted to let them know to check the other packs just in case. I messaged the shop via Facebook since the discord link doesn't work. I left a message Saturday night and as of now they have still not responded. Be careful when buying pokemon packs, check before you...
Read moreOrdered 2 MTG Final Fantasy Collector boxes from here for about $544 each which is about $60 over MSRP. I was sent an email about 3 hours later stating a pricing error. The email stated they were in the middle of adjusting the price but they had to evacuate due to a gas leak in the area (which was verified). In the end they canceled my order and let me know they would be posted at a later date for the “planned” eg “higher” price and I could order them then if I so felt inclined. I understand that pricing errors happen but this doesn’t seem to be a pricing error. I also realize some are selling these for $700+ currently but there are other LGS’s putting up new rounds of allocations for $500-$600. Will avoid...
