I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bar 209, and I must say it was an exceptional experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
The bar itself had a stylish and modern design, with dim lighting that created an intimate ambiance. The seating options were diverse, ranging from cozy booths to high tables perfect for mingling. The overall layout was well-thought-out, providing ample space to move around and socialize.
The bartenders (especially Taylor who was serving us) were not only skilled mixologists but also incredibly personable. They took the time to recommend their signature cocktails and engage in friendly conversations. Their attention to detail and passion for their craft was evident in every drink they prepared, resulting in a perfect balance of flavors with each sip.
The drink menu was extensive, offering a wide range of options to cater to every taste. Whether you prefer classic cocktails or innovative creations, Bar 209. had it all. The quality of the ingredients used was evident, and the presentation of each drink was impeccable.
Furthermore, the service was exceptional. The waitstaff was attentive, prompt, and always ready to assist. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Despite the bar being busy, they managed to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.
Lastly, the overall vibe of "Bar 209," was simply fantastic. The patrons were a diverse mix of locals and tourists, creating an inclusive and friendly environment. It was easy to strike up conversations with fellow bar-goers, fostering a sense of community that made the experience even more enjoyable.

Read moreI’m wildly unimpressed with their recent menu change. It seems like every time they undergo a menu change, it takes the cooks six months to finally reign in control of the new food. My cousin and I went here today, and we ended up getting two separate burgers, two separate appetizers, and a beer and a Coke. In reality, the bill should not have been more than $45. It was $79… That’s insane, especially considering the quality of the food that we got. They used to do dill pickle spears here that were breaded and fried. Instead now they are the Small pickle chips that are circular that are breaded and fried. As a result, the breading gets very, very very burnt and has no tart flavor to offset the savory taste of the breading. The quesadilla that I ordered is laughable at how small the portion is. I am not kidding when I say with all the pieces assembled in a circle, it is smaller than a quesadilla that you would feed a child for a snack. But they charged $15 for it. My burger was pretty dry, I think that was more down to the fact that it was a peanut butter burger. But still it was very hard to swallow without watering down the food while you were chewing. My cousin‘s burger was OK, nothing to write home about.
Overall, we were extremely excited to see that they had gotten some new items on the menu. We were extremely hungry and had low expectations. Those expectations were either barely met or not met at all. It’s gonna be at least six months until I try this place again. They really need to train their cooks better at cooking the food, along with the correct seasonings and toppings, etc. It’s not just me that feels this way, multiple other people I’ve talked to before I wrote this review have gone there in the last couple weeks, they have agreed by saying that they have the exact same experience when they have...
Read moreNo. Just NO. Smh.
Ordered the Brussels sprouts with bacon and Bleu cheese crumbles.
The bacon was RAW. ALL FATTY RAW bacon, disgusting.
After I tried to pick all that disgusting fat out, I tried to eat as much as I could, but it was also setting IN a bunch of liquid?
So the Brussels were soggy as well. See the pics. I do NOT know where this liquid came from, or WHY its in my dish, but remove that, gross!
ALL that liquid you see on that plate below, is after I dumped it out of the Brussels sprouts container. YUCK. I didn't order Brussels sprouts soup.
Also there were strings of onions, half cooked, that just didn't belong in this dish at all.
This should've been crispy Brussels, with COOKED BACON, crispy bacon and NO liquid.
The $7 scoop of mashed potatoes I got, were at least real, I think. But 0 flavor. Not worth $3.
The truffle fries would've been good, if they hadn't been soggy. They were inedible, cold and soggy. The flavor was good, but I couldn't eat much.
Huge let down after spending close to $50!!!! Won't return. Will NOT...
