It's just a really great park. You can rent bikes, paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, and other boats. Plus there are grills scattered throughout that are for the public to use. A highly recommended summer spot.

Super pretty!! Well kept up and great place for a variety of uses (bbq, picnic, swimming, reading, etc.). The point at the end of the park is a gorgeous spot.

Nice park by Lake Bemidji. Itโ€™s right next to the university so it can get busy and the traffic can be heavy. Plenty of tables. Good place to watch wildlife.

Diamond point park is a great park and is one of the most relevant places in Bemidji for people who like to be outside.

It is on the semi peninsula of the shoreline of lake Bemidji, and has a nice park, a beach, a trail, bathrooms (during the summer) and several sheltered areas. People don't always pick up after their dogs, which is a downside, but there is a lot of area to do stuff. There are the classic campground grills scattered around if that is something your into. The beach is one of the better ones in Bemidji, and though Bemidji isn't the best swimming lake in the area, it still has it's times where it is a good place to swim.

This park is the biggest one in Bemidji and is definitely a good place...

At first I was disheartened by the new layout, and I still prefer the old "rustic" feel of the park to the newer one. I also think they really hurt the area by removing a well used boat landing (technically it is still there, but there isn't any parking for trucks and trailers). That said, it is still a pretty spot to sit and relax or take kids to play. The paths seem to be popular with runners/walkers/bicyclists, so it is getting used in a lot in that regard. I feel like a better plan might have been to make one large parking area on the south end to accommodate visitors and boaters rather than several very small parking areas along a winding road. Sure, it is prettier, but far...

I've been coming to Diamond Point Park for years to rollerblade and enjoy the lake. It's such a happy, idyllic spot to relax and hang out. There's beach access in a couple different spots, including a kiddie swimming area by the playground. There are built-in chairs and picnic tables throughout the park, including a long, winding path to walk on. A huge perk in the summertime is the Outdoor Program Center in the park, where you can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. I'll keep coming to Diamond Point for as long as I...
