Diamond point park is a great park and is one of the most relevant places in Bemidji for people who like to be outside.
It is on the semi peninsula of the shoreline of lake Bemidji, and has a nice park, a beach, a trail, bathrooms (during the summer) and several sheltered areas. There's beach access in a couple different spots, including a kiddie swimming area by the playground. There are built-in chairs and picnic tables throughout the park, including a long, winding path to walk on. A huge perk in the summertime is the Outdoor Program Center in the park, where you can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. I'll keep coming to Diamond Point for as long as I...
