Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area — Local services in Bemidji

It's a good place for kids in the community. They host a lot of the Bemidji Youth Basketball League practices and games. Unfortunately, I don't think they have a lot of backing so the gyms are falling into disrepair. The floor needs serious attention and the backboards are falling apart, but like I said, they do offer great things for the kids. When my girls were younger, our oldest did a Spanish day camp here and loved it. While the gym isn't in great shape, it is large enough to run two games at a time or have four teams practicing on half courts. They do an annual craft show. Amazing organization! These folks are so professional, organized, and caring. Our daughter loves her time at the Club and has made so many friends/memories. The staff is incredible (knows every kid by their first name) and they work hard to help young kids understand their full potential.
