Cameron Park — Attraction in Bemidji

July at the park is hot and Crowded during the day. The bathroom usually has toilet paper, but it is not always clean and they lock it up too early. Some people, like me, like to sit down by the water at night and watch the moon on the waves and listen to the loons. Unfortunately, this park is too often hit by young vandals who damage the picnic tables, also. There are many nice spots for grilling and picnics and groups. The boat launches are always busy, too. The city needs to add a bike rack and recycling bins and needs to ENFORCE that people MUST throw their cigarette butts in a bin and NOT all over the ground. Its my favorite park no doubt. Its a comfy place to be and its not super busy and crowded like other parks. Its a nice place to go swimming and theres several nooks and crannies to chill in the trees by the water ive spent many summers there and you hopefully wont regret going there. Of courae the bathrooms aren't the best and neither is the playground but the actual beach is my favorite cause thats the only reason i go there if you want a nice playground for your kids i suggest Paul bunyan or diamond.
