Belle Voir Manor — Attraction in Bensalem Township

Large ballrooms & banquet rooms. Beautiful decor. Some of the staff could be more efficient, especially when serving food &/or cleaning up/ clearing tables. Our entire table got their salad except for 1 person & that salad was not brought out until the entire room was served & the wait staff realized they forgot 1 guest. By then it was just awkward. Food was nothing spectacular. Most of our table picked at what was edible from the 3 choices. Servers reached over guests in a rush to clear tables interrupting others still eating. A lot of our meals were not even fully cooked. In addition, there was no sense of privacy or guest respect when it came to clearing the cocktail / desert area or in the bathroom. The venue was top-notch. I was very impressed with all that I saw both inside & outside the Manor. Regrettably, I can only address it as a setting. I saw & inspected it on the day of our friend's wedding rehearsal. It was truly lovely. All of the decor, the table settings, the amenities, the bathrooms, etc. were terrific. The staff were professional, prepared, and efficient. There were no snafus. What I can NOT tell you is how the food or food service was at Belle Voir. If you or anyone you are inviting to your event has a food allergy run far away from this venue! They grossly mishandled my gluten allergy, I had 3 different people confirm to me that my entree was gluten free only to be sick the rest of the night. When confirming that my dish was gluten free (for the 3rd time) after it was placed on the table, the server went to find a supervisor who approached me with an attitude saying "What's the issue here". She proceeded to lie to me and say it gluten free, which it was not. Found out later that allergin free foods at this ventue have allergy pins, so im not sure how the supervisor could tell me my dish was fine...
