Golden State Sportfishing — Attraction in Berkeley

I have fished with almost every Fishing Charter Captain in the Bay arena /Delta and since I started fishing with Joe and crew, Golden State Sportfishing has turned into my go to and charter of choice. Since the first time I stepped on his boat I always had a awesome time, first class hospitality and limits of fish whether fishing for Sturgeon, Halibut, Salmon or shark. I’ve seen Golden State Sportfishing grow so much over the years including a new boat, but still the same old Joe and Crew and the great vibe never changed. Anytime I have any questions and need information about fishing Joe always gets back to me with the information that I need. That shows great appreciation to his customers that’s hard to find. I now have a boat and thought I learned enough to catch fish on my own, but I think it’s time and looking forward to booking another trip with Golden State Sportfishing soon and get some fine tuning...

Had the opportunity to fish with Joe Gamez and his son Joey this week and all I can say is wow!!!! First class operation and Joes knowledge of the bay is first class the shark fishing was outstanding to say the least, he put our group on fish and big fish at that. His personality made our trip very enjoyable with many laughs throughout the day. When it came to lunch he brought out the BBQ and we had TrI Tip and sausages😮😮
