This review is a bit delayed but I still feel important to share. My family & I were visiting Frontier Town this past Memorial weekend & the kids decided to try this rope course. My husband & 11 year old daughter went with other family members while I observed. I know my daughter & I was fully prepared for her to back out as she usually won't even do a 4ft rock climbing wall, she's terrified of heights (or was). As soon as she got up to the first level she froze in fear, my husband & myself attempted to encourage her with zero results... this is where Ms. Patty stepped in and forever changed our daughter's life. The way she spoke to her, giving her confidence, encouraging her & instructing her step by step. Ms. Patty's confidence was absolutely contagious, our daughter actually accomplished a lot on the course. It honestly was shocking. Then, it was time for the zip line, same thing, she was frozen in place. Ms. Patty got on the walkie talkie & encouraged her again, it was amazing to witness all of this, I get teary eyed just at the memory of it. I honestly believe people are meant to be present at certain parts of our lives for a reason and I honestly can't thank Ms. Patty enough for helping give our daughter the confidence to spread her wings, we will be forever grateful. Thank...
Read more5 of us went. Employees were cool, helpful and knowledgeable. However, letting us go in with a bunch of children that didnt want to climb, didnt want to move and held up the line consistently is not fun. An hour in there and didnt get to go on every obstacle and there was not many. Speaking of obstacles, I've been to other goape parks (north Park in PA but its closed now) and they had an actual obstacle course you navigated and moved along. This was more like a jungle gym you couldn't navigate due to the amount of people. I helped the instructors more than I got to do anything. Even they mentioned they dont usually let that many people on. Apparently there was a school class there. (Seemed like kindergarten/2nd graders) This was a waste of $ for 5 people. (Then ziplining was canceled due to a storm that never came.) If youre an avid tree obstacle course kinda guy, u wont like this. If youre ok with a jungle gym type of thing, this may be for you...wasn't...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited today and did the Tree Top Journey and Zip Express. This was our second time doing the Tree Top journey and first on the Zip Express. The guides are always friendly and helpful. There was a new guide that gave us our orientation, you could sense he was a little quiet and still building confidence with his orientation, but he was thorough and will do a great job......I wish I could remember his name :/ The course itself is fun and go at your own pace.....if you don't want to do a certain aspect of it, just don't, plenty of options to keep you entertained....and the guides are right there to help you out. My daughter would like to specifically call out one of the guides who she believes was named Tabby(?). She thought she did a great job with another guest who was a little apprehensive upon entering the course. We'll definitely be back on one of...
