We had a wonderful tour of the Jackson Mansion of Berwick, PA. that was built in 1877-9 by Colonel Clarence Jackson for his wife and two daughters. The mansion is beautifully decorated with some original family pieces, and antiques of the period. We have seen many historic house restorations, and this is one not to be missed. Absolutely gorgeous!

If you like touring historical mansions, you should not miss this. It is beautiful! Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable on the area. Entrance is $15. You buy the tickets from the souvenir store across the mansion (Ross and Boone Gift Shoppe) and thats where the tour actually starts. Tour is about 1.5 hours but time just flew by fast!

We thought $30 was over priced for this place. In hind sight we would have just been satisfied looking at the outside and saved $60. I also think they try too hard to sell that the place is haunted. There was nothing other than what they said to lead me to believe that the house was. Nothing out of the ordinary and they things they claimed happened just didnt add up. Next time we will just enjoy from the outside. It would be better if they just allowed you to walk around when you were inside and skip the formal tour and...

A Jackson Mansion tour is the best and quickest way to learn about the Victorian Mansion, the Jackson Family who lived there and the family's role in creating the business that was for many years the largest employer in Berwick: the American Car and Foundry.
