Tiny free museum that's worth a visit if you're in town. You'll see everything in about 15 minutes, but they also have some walking tour maps of the town. They have several really interesting pieces here such as Hitler's typewriter and a jail cell door where MLK was incarcerated.

Amazing!! So, small place, so much history happened in Bessemer!!! A must visit, Chris his team are excellent, knowledge, and friendly!!! I took my ministry, SENIORS-R-US!-Bham, there for a field trip, they never heard of it or realized how much history has taken place in Bessemer, right down the street!!! Please put Bessemer Hall of History Museum on your list of must see attractions!!!! Chris and his team will be excited to have you!!!!! Dee Haywood, Founder, SENIORS-R-US!-Bham,...

We went as a spur of the moment trip on a lazy day and we are really happy we did. It's a nice little museum with tons of history about the local area. The director of the museum himself showed us around and shared the history of the town. He also showed us the model train display they have inside an actual train cart. A nice place to spend 30 minutes...

Bring the kids to see the boxcar with a full model train setup of bessemer inside! Enjoy watching the trains close up inside the museum! Definetly worth a trip if your...
