The Bessemer Hall of History is a museum located in, and devoted to the history of, the city of Bessemer, Alabama. The museum is housed in the former Alabama Great Southern Railroad depot in downtown Bessemer. The depot, built by the AGS in 1916, served passengers until the Amtrak era began in the early 1970s.

We went as a spur of the moment trip on a lazy day and we are really happy we did. It's a nice little museum with tons of history about the local area. The director of the museum himself showed us around and shared the history of the town. He also showed us the model train display they have inside an actual train cart.
