The reviews for this garden were pretty good, so I took a ride to check it out. First thing I found was the weekend parking rate for non residents was ridiculous. I asked the young gentleman at the gate if there was a large garden, and told him it was all I was interested in. He said there was a large garden on top of the hill in the park. I paid the fee and went on my way. The rose garden was surrounded by brick walls and there was a gazebo type building there. It was well kept but it was underwhelming for sure. Not worth the price of entry. If you're traveling to see this for the first time, I want to let you know it's not worth the trip. The park itself is on the shoreline. It's a clean place and plenty of room for relaxing. It has lots of park benches and some nice lookout points. I saw there was an ice cream store within the park. There were lots of folks in line. They have a large sign with all the rules spelled out quite clearly. Make sure you know the rules before going there as well. I remember seeing, No grills, no fires, no pets, and no alcohol. There were many more rules than that.

🌹 Lynch Park in Beverly, MA is a North Shore gem—and it has something for everyone. Enjoy an outdoor concert, cool off at the splash pad, play at the playground tucked behind the trees, and go tide pooling down by the water. It’s a peaceful, shady spot that’s perfect for the whole family. There’s plenty of open lawn for picnics, paths for strollers, water activities, and seasonal events that make this park a favorite all summer long. Definitely one to bookmark for a full-family outing!

Best playground and open space in Beverly. Free parking to Beverly residents and small daily parking fee for all others. Restrooms open morning/daytime seasonally (spring to early fall), food & ice cream bar open in summer, paddle board and kayak rentals, rose garden is awesome, and 2 beach areas (1 rocky, 1 sandy), playground, splash pad, vollyball, great climbing trees, and huge open grassy areas.

This part of Lynch Park is so beautiful, I often feel I have stepped out of real-life and into some palace garden or Temple of Venus in Ancient Rome. When in season and tended-to, this lush garden is the perfect place to sit with a book and read, and watch the ocean, birds, squirrels and the occasional rabbit bound by. Children race around at play while couples get engaged, take engagement photos and plan their weddings. This is most certainly a wedding spot, though it shuts down for those events and sometimes in the summer with the plethora of children's birthday parties the amount of screaming kids racing through the precious greenery can sometimes get cringeworthy. But they are kids in a...
