Beantrust Coffeebar — Restaurant in Beverly

I was driving through making my way back down to Salem when I came across this awesome little gem of a coffee shop. From the moment I stepped thru the door I was welcomed by the store owner Erik who was so genuinely friendly and welcoming (along with his employee and customers). After driving for hours, it was truly nice to stop and chat with good people who had great insight on places to go visit. I ordered an all black cold brew which was delicious! Bold, smooth and full of flavor!! As a health-care worker I run on coffee and energy drinks to get me thru a 12hr shift, but believe me when I say, I did not feel the need to pick up anymore caffeine for the remainder of the day after that cold brew. My experience here at Beantrust was honestly one of the highlights of my trip while here in the east coast. I joke with my wife that I moved here for beantrust. As someone who is admittedly addicted to coffee I have tried every coffee shop in a 5 mile radius and no matter what I always come back to beantrust. Eric and his staff are always friendly and make a point to get to know everyone (and their pups) who walk through the door. When I stumbled in one morning after my wife and I spent weeks renovating our house last year, Eric greeted us with a congratulatory loaf of bread. The pastries come from Bonny Breads another local spot and you can trust every beverage is top notch. I am partial to the cold brew and brioche bun with ham and cheese, but you cant go wrong with a slice of quiche and a sticky bun either. Erik truly has created the most special coffeebar I have been to. The atmosphere of the coffeebar allows for a sense of community. There is something truly special about coming for your daily coffee and pastries and feeling apart of something bigger than yourself and coming to a safe place that you feel seen in. The Beantrust Coffeebar is the community coffeebar like Cheers where everyone knows your name and you can go and have a delicious coffee for the right price and feel like you can take a breather from the noise of the world.
