Beautiful beach park right off Big Bear Boulevard. The park boasts a medium size parking lot, so it is always best to arrive in the morning if you want a parking spot close by; a fishing pier or dock; a good size green-lawn area, paved walking paths; the Kayak Park Gazebo; restrooms; picnic tables; and a small l-shaped beach area just west of the gazebo. The beach area is used by bathers and people launching kayaks, canoes and small rafts. Parking was small, but we were there off peak season so it wasn't a problem. Picnic tables were clean. The bathrooms were well maintained.
There's a nice little beach you can walk on, and I can imagine people sunbathing and swimming during the warmer months.

Its not a hard walk but definitely not good if you have leg or hip problems. The kayaking was nice and easy. We could see smoke from a wildfire, lots of nice homes, and plenty of boulders!
