We drove up early Thanksgiving Day, arriving around 0730 & with an appetite since we didn't eat that much before leaving a few hours earlier at home. WE ARE GLAD WE DID! The options were plentiful & I wanted to make sure I selected well. I love pancakes but decided a build your own Omelette would be perfect for a chilly morning (

My girlfriend and I visited this place for breakfast on our anniversary and we got seated right away in a 1x2 foot table right in front of the entrance. And once we got seated it took 15 minutes for anyone to come back and take our order. So we ordered our food and drinks at the same time and after 25 minutes they brought us our food and drinks at the same time. I ordered an omelette and it was good, they even added a clump of hair in it for free, how nice of them!? My girlfriend ordered chicken fried steak and eggs and it came out like a thin piece of hamburger meat covered in croutons. It was burnt to an oblivion and crunchier than chewing on ice. And we found full on coffee grounds at the bottom of our coffee...Avoid this place at all cost, service was atrocious, food was terrible and they were extremely rude when we asked for a discount because of the hair and burnt food. Even though we should of paid nothing. What a way to start an anniversary...

Having moved up to the mountain almost four years ago from Orange County, the only way to explain the reviews are if you're not used to eating in Orange County, this place will be good. It is edible food, but definitely nothing great. Tried it for the first time today with my daughter. I ordered the Mexican scramble and she had french toast. The Mexican scramble did not come with sour cream or salsa, but it DID come with a hair in it. I don't freak out about those things, but obviously I'm not thrilled about it either. I tasted a bite of the French toast and it was merely "ok" too. Off to try other places. I would not try to come back here to eat again. Service was adequately friendly, but it took more than 10 minutes to get our food when there was only one other party of two in the restaurant that were already eating. I think Amangela's is better quality, but you only get one or two options for breakfast--but I wish we had gone...

We visited Blanca and Pierres Restaurant and ordered the following items: • Classic Club Sandwich ($13.75) • Roast beef with pepper jack ($13.25) • Fish and Chips x2 ($15.99 each) • Chicken Nuggets ($8.50) • Spaghetti Bolognese ($8.95) • Diet Coke ($3.50) The subtotal should have been $79.93. Even after adding a 7.75% tax, a 3% credit card surcharge, and a generous 20% tip, our total should have come out to approximately $106.45. However, the restaurant charged us $111.27 (excluding the credit card surcharge and the extra tip I gave separately), indicating additional unexplained charges. Despite receiving minimal service—only ordering and food delivery—we found extra fees included and the bill improperly inflated. This practice is misleading and unfair to customers. I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and overcharging, and would caution others to check their bills carefully when dining here.

After having breakfast here for the 2nd year in a row, the amazing wait staff invited us back for dinner. With so many restaurants in Big Bear we considered going somewhere else. But when you have a party of 7 including teenagers and adults that all agree they want to go back to a place that felt like home, we had to try it! Once again we all left satisfied and grateful that they were just recently opened for dinner (4:30-8:30). If you want to get to there for dinner, you better hurry before the word is out. It's a quaint place with limited seats but if you have to choose between waiting here or waiting elsewhere, put your name on the list and enjoy the views from the nearby pier.

We ate at this restaurant 4 mornings in a row. The first time (Tuesday, 9/5/2023) was a huge disappointment. The food was below average and the service wasn't that good. However, the rest of the days (Wed 9/6 - Friday 9/8/2023), the food was great and the service was excellent! We had the same waitress from Wed-Friday (different waitress on 1st experience). I'm glad we gave it another chance (we wouldn't have, but the restaurant we wanted to try was closed on Wed), as our review would be much different otherwise. The 2nd waitress was personable, always filling up your coffee, etc. We will definitely come back here the next time we're visiting the area!
