Summer in Michigan, coming soon… 🌲🍒🌊⚓️ Sip your way through the region’s wineries, soak up the sun at one of the area’s sprawling beaches, hit the links at a top-rated golf course, lace up those hiking shoes or cast a line — there’s truly no shortage of outdoor adventure here. Ten stars forever! But kind of using this review as a suggestion box to make an already amazing place ever better :) Suttons Bay Ciders is a permanent fixture in our Up North routine, and genuinely one of my favorite places in the world. We come up from Detroit several times a year, and it’s the #1 thing we look forward to. The view over the bay is stunning, as is the cider (we always leave with growlers of Ginger and Sidra for our Lo Rogers. Also gotta get the cherry slush, when it’s in season—YUM.), and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We’ve caught full moon rises, watched the fall colors roll in, met the kindest people across the bonfire, sang The Edmund Fitzgerald in unison with perfect strangers, and always try to get Gordy the dog to love us. Too many memories to count. Okay now for the suggestion: Please consider moving the porta potty 🙏 We usually camp out in that corner of the property with our dog because it’s one of the more low key spots. Hearing the door slam, getting the occasional whiff—it kinda kills the magic. Especially now that y’all serve pizza, it’s not the most appetizing to eat next to. Maybe I’m picky! Totally get the hillside issue, but a raised pad in the parking lot (or somewhere further from the hang spots) would go a long way. All that said: we’ll be back again and again to this very special place no matter what. Much love ❤️

What an absolutely incredible place. We arrived after being rudely turned away from a cidery down the road. Not sure what to expect, but with a packed parking lot we knew this place was special. The line was long but the staff was unbelievably efficient, we had drinks in less than a couple minutes. I had a N/A craft cocktail "Fools Gold", it was amazing. 15 of us were treated like family, we headed out to the deck and were blown away by the stunning view of the bay. High on the hill this place was breathtaking, even on a cloudy grey sky fall afternoon. This "Fools Gold" drink was so amazing I had to ask what was in it and how it was made, they again didn't hesitate to answer all my questions and even share a few secrets. I mentioned the poor service we had at Two K Cidery and instead of taking an opportunity to bash the competition they didn't, what they did do was apologize on Two K's behalf. WOW WHAT PROFESSIONALISM!!! We bought items from the gift shop and thanked them immensely for their generous service and hospitality. We HIGHLY recommend putting Suttons Bay Ciders on your MUST STOP list, you will not regret it.

Will never go back! Our daughter was getting engaged at another location in traverse city and her boyfriend asked us all to be at Sutton’s bay cider to surprise her. I sent an email to them explaining we wanted to have a surprise engagement party for 10 people and asked about a reservation. I received an email back saying “sure come on in no reservations needed as seating is outside And on a first come basis” After we got there and got our table set up (we had 2 picnic tables) the owner (wife) came to me and was very rude and said we did not have a reservation for this and it was not allowed! She said I needed to give her $500 or leave! I explained the email and she tried to deny it but I had proof. I have never seen a business owner be so nasty to someone. Later her husband came out and apologized and was very kind. Needless to say, after our daughter and fiancé got there we left. We did not let this ruin the special day but I will never return. She could have handled it much better and not been so...
