Massive selection of live-performance equipment spanning all imaginable conditions and feature sets. Lights, PAs, mixers, mics, stage equipment, and so on are the focus, but there's also a solid selection of home audio kit and all sorts of miscellania. Don't expect to find instruments themselves if they aren't keyboards or synths, or headphones, or a large record inventory. They do have a recording booth in the back.
I suppose the man I've always seen at the desk is Tom - you get the feeling he knows what kind of visitor you are when you walk in, be it a bored window shopper or a long-time operator, and he gives you the appropriate time and attention. That's just how any money-making business should work, though, so you can't blame him for not being all smiles for all walk-ins.
