Fairly easy access from major roads for this portion of the GAP. We rode a weekday in the Fall in the rain.... so iy wasn't too crowded, but that also meant the kiosk wasn't staffed. The bike shop adjacent to the trail had a phone number to call to apparently have someone open it,... but we had T-mobile and absolutley no service. However. The gazebo, the restroom, and location in town were all fabulous. Great place to base the days ride.(we rode in both directions from here.)

This is such a wonderful trail access point! There is plenty of parking. There is a toilet here. There is a Visitor’s Center that has cold soft drinks, snacks, and ice cream for sale (cash only). Great stopping point whether you are headed towards Confluence or towards Meyersdale!

Easy parking access to one of the most beautiful parts of the GAP. The lady at the kiosk gave helpful information and was very friendly. Having an attendant there was a nice feature.

Would have been a 5 but the trail was closed to Garret. They were offering a shuttle. Luckily we were heading to Confluence. An ambassador was there to greet us and offered a cookie. We had a nice chat, she was very friendly and...
