The place and the room were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked (the hot and cold in the shower was reversed, thought I was going to have to take a cold shower but discovered hot was cold and cold was hot: don’t know why they haven’t fixed this situation). It’s a place to sleep and get nourishment and nothing more. There was absolutely no hospitality: granted, I got there at 8:00 PM and left about 7:30 AM. The breakfast was a bowl of hard boiled eggs in the fridge (lots of them with no idea how long they’ve been in there), the “fruit” was Del Monte fruit cups, the was a bag of bagels in the fridge, a container of cereal on the counter, etc…you get the picture. You also you phone in your reservation and don't get an email confirmation, which was a concern for me.||||All that being said, my room was ready when I arrived. The room is smallish but has A/C and a real window that opens. This one of the best nights of sleep I had in a week on the GAP and C&O trails. The common areas of the house are large enough to provide COVID distancing. Breakfast is self serve continental breakfast, but coffee was ready to make and lots of choices with hard boiled eggs, fruit, choice of yogurts, and other items to eat.||||Location is ON the trail and the corner of the road across the track to town. Would...
