Maurices — Attraction in Blackman Charter Township

My wife and I were at maurices in Jackson on Friday. We walked in and weren't greeted.Chris, an employee there was behind the counter and made eye contact with us. She then turned to the other worker and started laughing. After five minutes she said hi. I have been in this store for many years with my wife. Every time we go into this maurices Chris tells my wife what she purchased and what she is going to buy next. She told us yesterday that she was going on a cruise. She has told us that her pants are too big now that she has lost weight. Who really cares about what is happening with her ! She went around the store as my wife and I were the only customers there. She would show my wife items that Chris purchased herself. Or, items that my wife had no interest in. She told my wife that only one particular shirt was on sale at buy one get one half off. We knew better as this never happens. It's more than one item that you can mix and match. This woman Chris is all about herself and not the customer she is supposed be helping. I had a fitting room with several different clothing items to try on. I had left my fitting room to find a different top and the other worker took a jacket out of my fitting room without asking. They left my other clothes in the fitting room. They put the jacket in a friend's fitting room for them. When I asked Chris where my coat was she wouldn't answer and pretend that she didn't hear me. I asked her again and she said it was a mistake. How could this be a mistake when she left the rest of the clothing in my fitting room. She then told me to be nice and raised he voice at me. I have had trouble with her in the past. She has managed to be employed there for a long time. I don't understand why she is still there. This stealing the jacket out of my fitting room and putting it in a friend's room was done deliberately!!!!!! Very, very unperfosional. I will not return to this store. I really love my local store. The ladies are quick to greet you as soon as you walk in. When trying on clothes they are happy to run and grab a different size. Once when I was prepping for a vacation a gal was practically my personal shopper! Recommended things, pointed out things I may of missed, ran back and forth for different sizes. Normally I HATE clothes shopping. This is the only clothing store I bother...

Service was really good! Employees were very kind, friendly, and helpful. I bought 2 bras off the clearance rack and apparently one of the bras wasn't supposed to be there, but they still gave me the clearance price for it anyway!
