Ok, but not Molly Moon's (Seattle area). I'd give it 2.5 stars if I could. 2 stars would be a little insulting, I suppose. Most of the staff was very pleasant and professional, but the young girl who rung us up was very rude. Me, my wife, and the customers behind us in line all witnessed her snottiness when I didn't understand that there are different "scoop SIZES" (see attached photo of the menu - the "sizes" are in addition to selecting HOW MANY scoops you would like). I said I wanted a scoop of cookies 'n cream and a scoop of mint 'n cookies, on a waffle cone. I was then snarkily asked if I wanted a regular or large. To me, this is confusing. I said I wanted two scoops...what else is there to know? When I was an ice cream "scooper" back in high school, 20 years ago, you got one scoop, two scoops, or (for the crazy people) three scoops. Pick what flavors you want, right? Well, let's just pretend that I'm a complete moron for a second, and don't know how to order ice cream the way the cool kids do it these days (this was our first visit to Edaleen...), it would still behoove the girl ringing us up to POLITELY explain that I'm permitted additional options besides "just" two scoops. She chose to have attitude, so she got attitude back from me and my wife, and no one in line behind us could believe her sassiness toward me for not "knowing" the way of Edaleen's overly complicated ordering system. What, do they have two different sized scoops back there? If so, why isn't there a diagram on the ordering board depicting the SIZE DIFFERENCE?! Anyway, it was decent ice cream, but not the best. Definitely won't bother stopping in, again.
To the ownership: it's probably too late to do anything about it, now, but having the customer line, general layout of the ice cream area of the store, and the "menu board" set up the way it is, was terrible planning. As it sits, a customer walks in to the store, can't view the flavors in the cold case (what most people do before selecting their flavor, right?) because the customers who are already paid are waiting for their ice cream to be handed over to them and are milling about in front of the cold case while doing so. Then, the customer stands in the back of the line, 30'+ away from the menu (which is on the opposite side of the store) where they can't see it, is then asked what they would like, at which point THEN the customer can go look at the flavors while the order-taker is impatiently waiting for the customer to hurry up and decide (as are the customer behind, in line). Most people don't bother wasting their time pointing these kind of flaws out, but rest assured that a majority of your patrons have thought exactly what I just said. You're welcome for...

Not only is the ice cream the creamiest with a rich and sweet flavor (but not too sweet), the size of a single scoop will blow your mind. For just over $3 plus a dollar for the waffle cone (of course) you will get the perfect serving of a sweet treat.
I had to get the fudgy wudgy because I love chocolate and it looked decadent. I was very happy and loved every last bite. It's great that it's near a few good lookout spots so you can watch the sunset and enjoy your dessert! The other wonderful thing about this dairy is they of course have milk, eggs, butter, bread, and other essentials that you might find in a little shop. Great place to pick up some for your stay nearby in either Blaine, Birch Bay, or Lynden.
The next closest ice cream place you're going to find is the C shop but they're scoops are 50% more expensive for what you get at Edaleen dairy. Make sure...
