Update for follow-up for initial concern
Stephen came back out to the house and did a fantastic job of troubleshooting every single flickering like that we had and was able to diagnose the issue. He also took the time to educate me on how to prevent the issue in the future and what to do in order to resolve it. For this service call, we thankfully just needed to change the bulbs. I can’t say enough great things about Steven and Blanco AC and electric. Exceptional customer service!!!!!
Original review: Outstanding service, and very professional technician! Stephen went above and beyond to take the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my funky electrical situation. It’s rare to receive this type of service in this day and age. He also made some recommendations that made sense for many reasons and was able to back up his claims, so I opted for routine scheduled maintenance to prevent issues like the one I had from recurring in the future.
Stephen is definitely a class above the rest and a bonus is that he works for a company like Blanco electric. I highly recommend Blanco, electric and Steven for any electrical work that you may need.
Follow up for AC scheduled servicing 4/18/24: Cooper was very professional and was sure to check all the parameters of both AC units, including thermostats, the outdoor units, and the actual AC units in the attic along with taking readings to ensure our home cooling system was performing at optimized efficiency.
Definitely worth purchasing the ongoing maintenance package from them to get this...
Read moreI recently (August 2024) had a second experience with Blanco AC, Electrical, & Plumbing that reinforced my first impression of them. Again, my call was answered promptly, and a service call was quickly scheduled. Steve arrived on time with notification before he got here. He checked on a problem with my pool equipment following a lightning strike and went above and beyond by helping me to find additional assistance when the problem turned out not to be electrical. He carefully explained the set up inside my box and ensured that there was power to all of the controls. Polite, friendly, and expert service -- what I've come to expect from Blanco.
My first experience with Blanco AC, Electrical, & Plumbing was excellent throughout. The office answered my call promptly and scheduled a service call quickly. Cody and his colleague arrived on time as promised - with notification before arriving. He was already informed of my needs and set to work quickly and efficiently. He carefully diagnosed problems and offered solutions. They were both polite, friendly, and put up with my questions without complaint. They completed the work in a timely manner and carefully checked that everything was working. Cody identified problems with my existing breakers and explained the need to make changes to comply with code requirements. However, our experience was different not going to recommended them or use Blanco for Electrical again.
Good, answers phone when we called, easy to set up appointment and they communication well up until the work was being done. Montana was the name of the lady scheduling.
Bad, initially told the service call was going to be $99.00 for the diagnosis. Got a call very shortly after arrival with an additional 403.00 plus the 99.00. With no real diagnosis stating “we can fix it for this price, but not sure what it is”. I was unclear on how they knew how they could fix it if they couldn't tell me what the problem was.
This is a bait a switch tactic to increase their bottom line.
I expressed my concern to Steven the tech. He stated he would get back to me and never did.
When I called to confirm they were done, I got a response less than great directing me to their Portal system. See photos. It’s a 4 paragraph run on sentence with descriptions of what was done. A simple phone call after the work was done would have fixed this issue, not they advised the tenant in person of the issues. The tenant is not paying the bills on this one and the owner should have been called.
I asked by email for the electrician to call me as the owner of the property. No reply so far.
Over all they left problems/issues that need to be address/fixed with only a rambling service tech...
