Read Residence Hall — Attraction in Bloomington

Don't let the ground floor fool you. This building looks great. Most of the rooms have shared bathrooms featuring a sink and toilet only, but there are communal (but sectioned) showers on each wing and floor. There is also a spacious lounge and kitchenette in the core of each floor. Navigating the halls can be a little confusing at first, but it doesn't take long to get a feel for the building. the dorm itself is a very decent place to live! The bathroom shared between rooms is a nice commodity. food on the ground floor is limited but forest is a short walk away for more options. the maintenance workers here are amazing and super kind and helpful! ive found during my year here the front desk workers are quite rude and unhelpful. they will ignore you if you’re standing in front of them, and are snarky at times. my only other complaints is the dorm AC and heating arent customizable, and it can get up to 80...

My son goes to school here. When he was a freshman he was dorming here. He loved it cause it was all close to his classes. I myself have been there a few times. The university is great! Sometimes it's really hard to let go when your kids are all grown up. But the university is a great way to show them a lot of Independence....
