I am a regular here. I love this coffee shop, it's my favorite in Bloomington, even better than the other Crumble locations. The baked goods are tasty and relatively fresh, there's always vegetarian options (though I usually go for anything with bacon in it), the staff are very friendly and kind, and the ambience is cute and clean, albeit a bit generic, and everything is reasonably priced. They also offer a discount if you bring your own mug and rewards for repeat customers (a free drink of any sort after 10 purchases). I personally love all their specialty drinks and seasonal drinks, but I have a massive sweet tooth, so others might find them a bit too sweet. Baked goods include cookies, crepes, galettes (think egg Danish, sort of), quiches, and pies. In reply to another reviewer, yeah it doesn't really compare to coffee shops in big cities like Toronto or NYC (where I'm from)-- the coffee could probably be stronger, made from higher quality beans, and brewed better, and the ambience could use some improvement-- but for Bloomington, it's a really great coffee shop. I love supporting local coffee shops like these especially. I do have some gripes about the parking situation though, hopefully you can see that section in the review, but if not, here is what I wrote: There's a parking lot out front, but it is structured in an awkward way such that if you don't find a spot on your first pass through, you'll have to go quite a bit out of your way to get back into the lot. This is because the entrance to the lot is on a one way street (east to west) and the parking lot is also one way (south to north) so there is no natural loop to look for parking. The parking lot should either be two way or one way in the opposite direction...

We enjoyed a couple of hot drinks and some breakfast pastries over the course of a few hours. The drinks were rich and flavorful, especially the hot chocolate. The chai was spicy and delicious. The quiche was a bit undercooked and the egg was gooey but still tasty. Free...
Read moreI love crumble! The lattes are so good and reasonably priced for specialty drinks. The staff is always so kind and will recommend drinks/ small changes if you have a chance to speak to them (without holding up a line). I will usually order something from the pastry case and have never had a bad slice of quiche. Flavors and case items rotate daily so there is always...
