The experience today with your CSR Natalie, was out of control for no reason what so ever especially for her to act like that in front of children.

While attempting to purchase a family pack with a gift certificate that I purchased back in Sept. 2020. I was informed that I couldn’t do that. When I asked Natalie for clarification as to why? She responded in a very disrespectful tone and demeanor in front of my children because that’s how much it cost. I am not sure why she felt the need to speak to me like that especially when I did not provoke that type of response. I proceeded to tell her I was only asking a question there was no need to speak to me like that. Her response was I was answering your question. Again with a very disrespectful demeanor and tone. Now all of my children are looking at me like Mom why is she speaking to you like that. So I proceeded to ask for a manger and was told she is the manager. I then told Natalie that’s fine. Then she turned around and asked one her coworkers who seemed to be walking by if Nia was around. The coworker said no she’s in the back. Natalie then picked up her cell phone and called Nia. Telling her exactly what I asked for clarification on. While Nia was on the phone I stated why couldn’t you tell me that. That was all I asked for was clarification. By this point all four of the children and myself were clearly upset. I handed her my debit card paying for their ticket and sat down to write this complaint. In hopes that someone will address this young lady’s poor customer service and lack of respect. I have also emailed the location to make them aware of what happened today and am requesting a follow up to this incident.

Let it be clear am writing this while still clearly upset however I have never had someone speak to me like that before especially in front of my children and it took everything in me to keep my composure and complete this...

The place is fun, but it feels understaffed and medical supplies are not as good as they should be for a place like this.

For the staff: There aren't enough staff to watch over people in the more "dangerous" attractions such as the "up in the air ninja park". Multiple times I had to stop random children from running on without a harness because the one staff member was too distracted by the people on tge zip line. And after some time, it appeared that the staff abandoned the area so random adults were helping on the zip line. There were times where staff were just sort of...there but not really monitoring. Like yeah, responsibility of parents and stuff, but if you have areas where staff should be, staff should be there.

As for medical: I did get hurt on the smaller ninja attraction. Now the injury wasn't too bad really. A scrape on the shin, but it did bleed a lot. Not only was it hard to get a staffs attention (understaff) but they also didn't really have much for it. Like, I really needed some decent gauze, but all they had were straps which they didn't even know how it went on. Also, some staff were unaware were the medical supplies were. If you do plan to come here, I would advise bringing your own medical supplies. I don't expect a broken bone or anything that extreme. But in a physical area, scrapes will happen. So wrappings and proper bandages should be on hand.

Finally, more balls to be used between dodge ball and basket ball...

I recently went here with my two year old daughter! We ate before we came after looking at the reviews mentioning no food. As we were on the toddler side monitoring, which most parents are there watching their toddler so security from the parents was heavily enforced! Lol but i didn’t see a single worker up there walking through checking to see if other bigger kids are staying out! Which bigger kids were coming in and I felt as if I was on the clock keeping them out and reminding them this sign says 4 and under kids go here !! Because these toddlers are 25-38 maybe 40lbs in here! So that needs to be heavily enforced by the staff! The young ladies at the front desk were very helpful and nice!! I feel you need a greeter because we really could have Just walked in and went jumping. Nobody was watching! And if they are there for a birthday party they still need to check in at the front desk and be directed over there!! For the safety of the children and staff! I will be having a birthday party here for my kid! This is a less busy jump park! Love the convince only being 12 minutes from my house. Love the free will to decorate for a birthday party!! I’m super excited about that! And bringing food in for the guests at the party! 🎉 my family and I will be returning!! And I will be watching and return for...

Columbia heat got your kids climbing the walls? 🥵☀️
Here are 3 indoor spots my own kids have been obsessed with this summer and yes, they’re totally worth checking out: 🎢 Surge Adventure Park – Trampolines, ninja courses, and arcade games that’ll wear them out in the best way.
🤸🏽‍♀️ FILIP FACTORY Family Fun Zone – Go-karts, trampolines, bumper cars, rock walls… it’s indoor chaos in the bestway.
⛸️ Skateland USA – Roller skating, music, and throwback vibes that even we parents can enjoy. If you’re a local mama (or dad!) trying to keep the kids entertained while staying cool, these are 100% worth adding to your summer list 🧃💥 Follow me for more local tips, family-friendly finds, and real estate help right here in Columbia, SC 🏡💚 #ColumbiaSCWithKids #ThingsToDoColumbiaSC #IndoorFunColumbia #ColumbiaMomLife #LocalFavorites #SurgeAdventurePark #FilipFactoryZone #SkatelandUSA #fortjacksonsouthcarolina

Surge is going to lose on this investment within a year for sure. I took my kids there and I was really disappointed about how clean this place was. There was literal trash on the trampolines bouncing up and down when you jumped. Employees siting around doing nothing but chatting to each other. One dude was sitting down with his back against a pole by the trampoline area. I'm not sure if the high jump, trapeze bar, and zip lines were supposed to be unsupervised but they weren't. We have been to other Surge locations in the past and they were kept up much better. There were spills on the floor that were there when we got there and there when we left. We went to get some water and there was spilt power aid on the counter. It was just honestly gross. Especially the trash on the trampolines. I can't imagine the trampolines or anything else in there is sanitized. The place has potential but clearly the drive in the management and staff isn't there. Pretty annoyed I spent $83 for us to have to jump in trash.

They got a very dangerous zip line there with can ricochet back in your head at the end. See photo it cut right through my scalp, just glad I tried it before my son. Staff are all kids around 17 of age, obviously can’t handle a medical problem or really look after potential safety hazards. They didn’t have any medical ER set either, no alcohol, no large bandages nothing. They had a card board box with finger sized bandages and that’s all they got. If something happens to you there, you are screwed, seriously. Edit: the Zip line stops at Half-Way point. If you hang yourself on the zip holder with height of forehead on same level with roller part of zip line then by law of physics the roller stops while your head travels foreword right into the steel portion of the roller. I cannot DM you without a number but the physics of it is self explanatory.
