I’ve taken my dog here a few times. If you have a big dog that likes to play I don’t recommend this park. I’ve had owners yell at me when our dogs are simply playing and doing nothing else. A lot of older people come here who cannot control their large dogs. I have been bitten and a scratched by other dogs while trying to separate our dogs from playing as these older owners thought it was to rough for their large and aggressive dogs. It’s also very expensive for how dirty the park is. I figured if we were paying for this it would be a nice park but no, it is very muddy and has dirt mounds everywhere. Other owners have told me their dogs have gotten ear infections here because of all the dirt mounds. After my last visit a large dog got very aggressive with my large puppy and bit his lip causing him to bleed a lot. The owner of said dog yelled at ME for not being quick enough to stop the fight. If you are old and cannot move quickly, do not bring your 85 pound dog to a dog park please. Other humans should not have to be blamed for what you cannot accomplish anymore. With this being said there is a new water park for dogs in quiet waters park on Hillsboro and power line road in Deerfield. It is brand new with fountains on concrete (to avoid muddy situations) for dogs to play in. They also have restrooms for humans and the cost is only 25$ for a seasonal pass which is much better that 250$ to park somewhere to have my dog get infection and...
Read moreMizner Bark is hands down the best dog park I’ve ever been to—not just in Boca Raton, but in all of South Florida. If you’re a dog owner who truly cares about giving your pup a safe, fun, and clean environment to run free, this place is a gem.
Beautifully Maintained & Spacious The park is immaculately maintained. The grass is lush, the grounds are clean, and there’s zero trash or foul smells you might find at other parks. They clearly take pride in keeping it pristine. It’s divided into three sections for small, medium, and large dogs, so every pup has space to roam and play with others their size.
Safe & Secure Gated double-entry points ensure safety, and each section has plenty of shade, benches, water fountains for both people and pups, and even doggy bag dispensers stocked and ready to go. I felt completely at ease letting my dog off leash—everyone there was friendly and respectful of the rules.
Great Community Vibe What makes Mizner Bark even better is the community. The other dog owners here are super friendly, responsible, and the dogs are all well-socialized. It feels like a little neighborhood hangout—for both dogs and people.
Verdict If you’re looking for a dog park that offers wide-open space, cleanliness, safety, and a great vibe—this is it. My dog absolutely loves it, and I always leave with a happy, tired pup. Mizner Dog Park is a five-star experience every single time. This is a must-visit for any dog lover in...
Read moreWhat more could you want from a dog park. I haven't had a puppy in many a year. I'm relearning how to do it. Having a stubborn type of little guy like a Shiba Inu makes it even more interesting. But no matter how trying it can be, you still want to spoil the little guy. One of the best ways can be a dog park. My dog park, by proximity and by choice is Mizner bark. I checked out ahead of time and got the parking sticker, so no whining complaints there. It was easy to park. getting in can be a little tricky the first time, as you realize there is 4 gates to go through, precaution against mischievous canines trying to go on the lamb. The place is well laid out, with a wandering paved path, undulating grass, and benches for those of us who would rather sit and let the dogs do the cardio. There is a few different water fountains, with a lower fountain for the dogs to enjoy as well. Although it seems to common that dogs don't trust these fountains and would rather dehydrate a little that take "strange" water. It's larger than some I have been to. The dogs and the people still converge near certain sitting areas. It's nice to stray though(pun intended), to the distant parts where it's quiet. There are regulars, so it does provide a chance for your dog to meet dogs that he may already have met before. Certainly the social nature of Mizner Bark is as good as any I have seen. I'm glad there is a such a relaxing spot...
