Our 11-year-old had a group of girls there for her birthday and I don’t have enough good things to say about the experience. Gary, Susan and Judy were more than accommodating and the entire experience felt more neighborly and less like a business transaction.

They are very patient, and pay great attention to the kids needs, which makes the experience better for the kids (and maybe more importantly the parents). Communication was clear, and they were very organized. There were plenty of materials for the each kid to express themselves with different mediums.

They clearly enjoy what they do, and aim to provide the best experience for everybody involved! %100 recommend to anybody thinking about taking their business to Hammer & Stain.

Our daughter added: “It takes some time and patience but the end result is so cool. Also you get to make whatever you’re making in your own way and how you want it.”

My Mom & I decided to take a class while on vacation in Emerald Isle as something fun & different. We had SO MUCH FUN!!! The class was amazing (we made Sea Glass Christmas Trees); Susan (the owner) & her mom were an absolute delight! They were very knowledgeable & patient. They let you take your time & would help whenever you needed anything. We happened to take the class with some other amazing ladies who kept the mood light & were cutting up the entire time. If you are in the area check this place out! I know we will be back; I sense a new Mom/Daughter beach vacation...

My daughter and i went to our first ever glass blowing class this evening with Susan, Gary and Batter Dog instructing us. We had so much fun and left with awesome glass ornaments.
