I should have listened to my friend who warned me not to come here. If you truly love animals and care for their welfare STAY AWAY. The fact that they let people (including kids) hold baby chickens with NO PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION is beyond me. These poor chicks are being picked up all day non stop by adults and kids acting like they are toys. These babies are so fragile and clearly in rough shape. When we got to see them they were TERRIFIED. They were all huddled together in the corner of the cage either from being so scared or trying to stay warm since they have no heat source available to get to. The other animals enclosures weren’t much better but at least they could get away from the from the public mishandling them all day. Shame on you Johansens! These animals deserve better and with charging people $25 a person I’m sure you can afford to create a better environment for all your animals at this depressing ‘petting zoo’.

Today my 4 year old and I visited the farm with her preschool. We arrived a few minutes late due to there being no parking. The class had already gone inside and upon walking up someone had asked me if I was with creative play preschool by chance and I said yes. He pointed to another man to assist us who then proceeded to angrily tell me I was late and had to pay general admission. I kindly said I already paid with the rec center (to which I paid a discounted price). He then told me it didn’t matter and so had to pay general admission again. He pointed vaguely to somewhere around the corner and I went to go pay because I didn’t want trouble and my daughter wanted to go in at this point. I started to pass the last because I didn’t see her because she bent down. He proceeded to yell very loudly “ma’am m’am!) like I was walking through without paying or something when I was clearly looking for someone to pay. When we found my daughters teachers she said I shouldn’t have had to pay again and someone else that had got there late shown them their rec center receipt and it was fine for them. I don’t know why I was forced a higher general admission price when I said to him 3 times I paid through the rec center and I had my receipt. We will not be visiting this rudely staffed, overpriced, disorganized and filthy farm again and I’m disputing the charge with my...

Last year we had so much fun and we took great pictures and my son bought his first pumpkin. It was our first time trying the apple cider donuts and let’s just say I look forward to this time of year just for that. But idk what happened this year but I went just for the donuts today and the girl at the register was rude and threw the pen and receipt at me and then the guy who walked in behind me got a nice friendly welcome, some lady kept staring at me and my son but that’s not even the funny part . Walked through the store part and I love Halloween and sugar skulls etc and I was planning on buying a few things and as I turn and look all I see is the lady at check out watching me and my son like a hawk with a blank stare on her face. Seriously 5 other people walked through and she never looked at anyone else but us. I’m going to just blindly assume it was for some other reason other than race maybe I had a spider on my head or something on my face but def lost out on a sale..If I was some little kid running around causing a problem then maybe that would have been necessary but seriously just put a sign on the register that says no brown people allowed! I’ll feel better at least that was instead of this lady staring at me like I was some kind of criminal but oh well. Got my donuts and coffee and I’m good. 3 stars for the experience I had last year...

I had such an amazing time taking my boyfriend and niece at this pumpkin patch. Typical fun activities for a child, my boyfriend and I enjoyed what the farm had to offer as well. Yet, staff should be improved.. I get they are teenagers but they should at least engage with the customers more. Some employees seemed like they loved there job but a few seem very overwhelmed. We went through a few activities in the farm area where the employees rushed us in a rude way. We weren’t aware of the rules or how long we get to use the activities in the farm area. We enjoyed our time but certainly did not hog up the area. One young employee rudely yelled at us to keep moving others are waiting. Even though we were in the chicken area for about a minute. In the game areas felt like the customers were directing the activities and time limit more than the actual employees that seemed very overworked and overwhelmed. We took a small hay ride and on of the rides were not working properly, back cart was scraping the concrete.the cart simply looked like it was breaking down. The employee took off with customers and did a burn out with customers in the carts. Probably did not mean to but it was pretty cool not going to lie. Tickets were beyond overpriced, food was okay, animals seemed tired and over fed. Just wish this establishment would look and be put...
