Mamie Doud Eisenhower Birthplace — Attraction in Boone

Lovely home, out buildings, vehicles, history, memorabilia and tour! So glad I decided to stop and see if it was open. They are open through October and I highly encourage a stop! This is 1 of only 2 First Lady Birthplace Museums in our country. They also have a quite large collection of books of all things Eisenhower they welcome you to use for research etc on property.
