So glad I decided to stop and see if it was open. **They are open through October and I highly encourage a stop!** This is 1 of only 2 First Lady Birthplace Museums in our country. They also have a quite large collection of books of all things Eisenhower they welcome you to use for research etc on property. Thank you to Ron,my tour guide for your time, knowledge, conversation and enthusiasm!! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

They were still closed for the off-season but I was able to get some nice shots from the outside. Fun Fact: I live 20 minutes outside Abilene, Kansas where her husband Dwight D. Eisenhower is from. Cool knowing my family settled in both areas. I definitely want to come back during the season when it's open so I can check it out.

This tour was exceptional! Our tour guild was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Our tour lasted later than time and he didn't care. He showed pation for the subject and the town. He was extremely kind even with my handicap. I recommend this...
