Asian Buffet — Restaurant in Boone

My boyfriend and I stopped in here a couple weeks ago. All he had on him for money was a gift credit card so she ran it to see if they took it, the hostess. It went through they were do sweet right away. We got there about an hour before closing and they special made stuff to bring out. The food is to die for. I tried sushi which I've never had and loved it to my surprise. Best crab Rangoon ever. While we were eating my boyfriend told me to go look at the jewelry they sold up front. I think she knew we don't have a lot of money and gifted me a hair scrunchie and two pairs of earrings saying it was on the house. What a sweetheart it made both our nights. Food is semi warm and if you are lucky, they might put out hot food while you are there. We used to go all the time but it has gone downhill over the past couple of years. Last time we were there the waitress chastised me for not eating everything on my plate. She told me not to go back for more foos unless i ate everything. I guess i just figured if they reallt disnt want people to be so wasteful, then maybe they shoudl make sure the hot food is hot and the cold food is cold. Husband and I love dining here. The selection isn't huge compared to other buffets but the food they do offer is far superior. The owners are very friendly and always provide above and beyond service! My husband's favorite dish isn't out for their dinner line-up (we can't always make the lunch because of work schedule) but they always make a plate special for us every time we come in.
