Beautiful place with a very pleasant hike. It was the perfect trail for our family. We had kids of all ages and all did great. Great big park for kids. Beautiful grounds and facilities. After the hike all were very hungry and thirsty, there is a restaurant and general store on the grounds. It is also near downtown Boulder that had many dining options.

This was my first time here. Not that icy for December as I didn’t have spikes and did fine. They would have been helpful though for sure. Lots of winding trails through the forest, lots of places to venture off too. Some great views! I didn’t do it all though, lots more to come back and see. Great that it’s only about 40 minutes from Cap Hill area

Nice early morning hike! Great views, lots of pretty wildflowers. This trail is connected to a large network of other trails in the area. If you’re only planning to do enchanted Mesa, watch your app maps so you know when to turn around. You could go on to hike for miles!

Trail is on the east side of Chautauqua. easy to moderate slope, beautiful vistas. Great paired with McClintock trail for a moderate hike/loop, beautiful views and a bit of forest bathing. This trail has never been crowded when we were there. Many parking options, though area (Chautauqua Park) is very popular on weekends. parking easier during week. It was okay. We were coming to see morel mushrooms and didn't see anything. The trails are okay. Nothing extraordinary in Colorado. The problem was more with the parking. It was TERRIBLE. We weren't able to find anything after going to the first trail. I had to use use bathroom at one point too and had to walk 10 minutes do to all of them being closed. It's not a huge deal, but when you have to pee it's annoying to go to 3 different bathrooms to find...
