Cataumet Light Mini Golf — Attraction in Bourne

This place was a flat out disappointment. The layout is boring, all of the holes have a slope that leads your ball to the boundary wall, and the boundary wall is made of jagged bricks that NEVER give you a consistent bounce. The astroturf is wrinkled and bumpy and the holes have lips around them which creates a frustrating experience. The sad thing is this place is not struggling financially, they probably think they have a nice fun course because they are super busy all the time. They are mistaken, they are only busy because they are some run of the mill mini golf course in cape cod and a bunch of tourists with no taste go there and blindly spend money. Our group of 4 recent college grads dropped by on a quiet Friday afternoon, so we managed to have the mini-golf course to ourselves. The staff was friendly, talked with us a little bit as we got set-up to play, and then offered to take a group photo. It was a nice welcome to the place.

We enjoyed the decor of the course with its beach and coastal theme. Some of the early holes were a little same-ish and uncomplicated, but about midway through, we got to some that challenged even the veteran mini-golfers in the group. We were having a blast by the end of it.

This place is just amazing and so adorable. My boyfriend have gone to countless mini golf places and this is by far our favorite. We have gone during the week and there was little to no wait on the course. The price is $11 per person which we think is perfect. The decor of the course is so cool and detailed. Not to mention the ice cream which is just incredible. This place is a 10/10 according to us. We went twice in a week. Can’t recommend enough.
