Pretty cool to see the cars but it is a pricey tourist trap. It had been about 20 years since I visited the museum. I remember I got there late as in anout an hour before closing time, the lady let me in for free on a military discount and told me just look at the cars and avoid the videos and you will see everything. The biggest problem I had this time was there was some people had to pose and take pics of their kids in front of each car and display. We made the stop as a break in our trip to PA from FL. I wanted to rush through see everything, grab a bite at the cafe and get back on the road. When you have to keep stopping for three and four families in a row stopping the line to take pics, it slows the process. We didn't get to try the simulators since they were booked up so that was a bummer. Even with the military discount it was still $60 for the three of us. It was a good time and it was cool to see all the car. We went in the wrong door so we missed our chance for a souvenir photo when we got there. We did get some odd looks pulling into the parking lot in a Ford truck but I think it was jealousy that my...
Read moreThe curated collection of Corvettes on display is a stunning example of the great American sports car. Every iteration of the Vette can be found here, including the sole surviving 1983 example, concepts and vehicles from the 2014 sinkhole incident. While you can explore the museum at your leisure, the guided tour is recommended for a deeper dive into the cars storied history for those wanting more. I came away with a deeper appreciation for what it takes to create this American legend. Plan on at least an hour or so for the guided tour. We were there about three hours in total. They have a great gift shop along with a restaurant (didn't have time to eat there). The lobby hosts vehicles awaiting delivery to their new owners, illustrating the diverse options available to personalize this iconic car to your liking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will...
Read moreLots of good information for enthusiasts. Kids and I had a blast on the simulator, just wish it was more than a few mins for the price. We however didnt eat at the restaurant due to even my kids talking about how expensive a burger was. Lol. All in all it was worth the 5 hour drive for the day, just plan on dropping a few $100.
I would also like to add if you're going to spend the money to order a new 'vett, definitely get the $1500 pick up package. You get to drive your new vett out of the museum after a tour of the factory and museum. You also get one on one with someone who shows you all the things this car can and will do. Plus you get to show it off for...
