Story Mill Community Park is 60 acres. The northern part of the park features an adventure playground, picnic pavilions, panoramic views, amphitheater, gardens and a future community center. The southern part of the park is a natural area with restored wetlands accessible by trails and walkways with bird and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The kids really enjoyed the park. There is lots of room. Tons of different obstacles and activities. It is shaded in most areas unless you directly go off where there is no shade. Squishy ground making for optimal play. Lots of climbing, big rocks, slides in the hillside. Smaller park off to the side for smaller children.

Visiting from Texas and found this park for a morning activity with the kids. Great variety of things to do and play on, plenty of space even when it is crowded. Restroom looks nice, but only porta potty available when we went due to them constructing the new splash pad which says it will open summer 2025.

Thanks to the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, the Trust for Public Land, and all the other partners that made this place possible. Our kids love the playground, and it has nice spots to sit while they are playing. The trail system criss-crosses all across the property, with access points near the Story Hill trailhead, as well as a giant train tunnel under the interstate that gets you into the north end of town. The bird blind with feeders is wonderful. All of the access points to Bozeman Creek and the East Gallatin are great, as is the little pond at the back. The bouldering structure has tons of features, from finger pockets to...

This is a great community park! Bring the family and the dog because there is something for everyone - including the dog - to enjoy. Walking paths, covered and open picnic areas, a community garden, and even an agility course inside the fenced-in dog run area. The playground is huge and has equipment for children of all ages. There is even a bicycle track for the little ones. A family could spend the better part of a nice afternoon enjoying all this park has to offer. So, if you have an hour or all day, go...

Hands down the best part to take your kids and all of Bozeman Montana! Whenever we drive to Bozeman to visit family, we be sure to take all the kids to the park to run around and play. I enjoy coming back to this place regularly. The community who visits the park is also kind and understands the nature of children, and the fact that children are not going to take any kind of safety precaution and will be hands-on and playing and screaming and yelling and...
