Ok, so Valhalla Meadery wasn't as hopping as I had hoped it would be but I did have some delicious Nordic potato salad and got to experience my first glass of mead. I can't say I really like it, lol. The classic was alright but heavy on the alcohol taste. I thought it would be sweeter. I also tried one called Rumspringa with tones of butterscotch and caramel. I love both but that one tasted like pure cough syrup so I couldn't finish it at all. Overall, it was a good experience for me to get out and try new things. #mysteryladystravelingfeet #bozemanmontana #gypsylife #travelwithme #mead #newexperiences #makingmemories #tryingnewthings #Nevertoolate

Spectacular mead and great food! We had two flights and we let one of the owners choose for us. He choose Earl Gray, Dragon's Blood, and Hop Session, all of them were amazing. The Dragon's Blood was made with beets and ginger an amazingly unique flavor. I know what you're thinking, unique as in bad or weird, but no it was surprisingly good. We also had the Huckleberry, Flat Head Cherry, and All Father. My two favorites were the Earl Grey and the All Father, amazing. If you are in Bozeman you must try this place you will feel like you died in battle and truly ended up in Valhalla!

My husband and I stopped in here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The gentleman pouring was very helpful on deciding which meads would make for a good flight. If you go in at happy hour the menu says right on it which food items are half off for happy hour, it just takes about 60 seconds of reading the menu to find it all. I love this place. Anyone who appreciates mead should stop by.

I want to start my review by highlighting that we had amazing food and drinks. However, as someone who has worked as a server and in the restaurant industry for over a year, the service my table received was rather unsettling. We walked in and the downstairs was full, our server, Doris (shorter with long black hair, I believe she gave us a fake name as she knew she'd treated us poorly), offered our party a table upstairs. We placed our drink orders downstairs, where she glared at all of us and our IDs with disgust (we are all of legal age with real IDs, she questioned one member of our party as if she was 17). After 10 minutes of sitting upstairs with our Mead, Doris SHOUTS from the bottom floor that she would like us to move back downstairs. After we have already been seated and served. We immediately moved downstairs, and she proceeded to send rather unfriendly glances towards our table for the duration of our meal. We were nothing but kind and received rather passive aggressive service. I'm not one to leave reviews, but as a restaurant employee I found it something that should not go unnoticed by the end of our meal. It appeared as if we a server who knew their manager...

A must-visit if you’re in the area! We tried several different meads and every single one was amazing—there truly wasn’t a bad sip in the bunch. The menu is well-organized and easy to navigate, and we loved that you’re encouraged to mix meads to create your own unique flavor combos.

We also ordered the Swedish meatballs and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the bread (sourced from a local bakery!) was perfect for soaking up every last drop.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming—perfect for relaxing and enjoying great drinks and even better company. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, and I really appreciated the local touches like artwork available for purchase from nearby artists.

We stopped in after spending time at Fairy Lake, and this spot made for the perfect end to a Montana day. It was my first visit, but my brother and sister-in-law are locals and say it’s one of their favorite hangouts—I can definitely see why.

Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area....

This place was amazing start to finish. First, none of us even liked mead before we came here. If you're wondering, curious about mead or just plain bored, carve out a couple of hours for some of the best flights and food we've had out here in Bozeman.

The flights are a perfect way to sample, and the service is amazing. Leslie hooked it up start to finish, and she's a badass. We got an appetizer, Swedish meatballs, that put every other meatball I've had in 40 years to shame. The homemade ice cream and ginger cookies wrapped it all up in a bow at the end.

We only tried 10 of the meads, but every one of them had body and character. Favorites were the Solstice and Mulled, but we drank everything in front of us.

We met the owner, Dylan, and he PROMISED that he'd be able to ship out of state soon, too. Super nice guy, I just hope he realizes what an amazing thing he's put together. We'll come back out to Bozeman just...
