My main issue was with one of the guides, Eric. He played his rock n' roll and metal music the entire time. Normally I would have said something, but I had never ziplined before and felt if I approached him about turning off the music that my safety would be jeopardized. I figured my safety wouldn't actually be jeopardized, but when I already have a fear of heights, my best judgment was just to stay quiet about it. I not only hate the music he played, as I have a lot of bad memories hearing those very songs growing up, but it wasn't Christian music and I was looking forward to hearing the nature as I ziplined and actually no music at all. Not only that, but he was rude to a few of the older ladies in my group about following directions. I know they were completely innocent though so it was disheartening to see elders talked to the way he talked to them.
My first and only ziplining was here so I have no reference for the ziplining itself to compare with. The zipline was fun for sure, but I wouldn't pay even close to $90 to do it again, but that's branson for ya. Silver Dollar City offers a lot more bang for that buck.
I would zipline here again if the price was at least cut in half. As long as there's somebody like Eric here though, I wouldn't do it again if...
Read moreDid not do the Zipline. Seen the murder dinner show. It was not very good. I could NEVER recommend it and feel it should be shut down. Show us stopped for actors to serve meal, so service is not very good. Air conditioning is huge vents in the wall about the center of the room. The air blows right on the people sitting in those 3-4 Row's so hard it blows personal item, napkins etc right off the table. Everyone in that area was freezing. They did nothing about it 😡. The show was not very good. Only one of them could act. The food was terrible. We could not eat it. We got a chunk of pork roast that was bleeding all over the plate. I asked to confirm it was pork or beef and was told it was pork. It also had a chicken thigh that was also red and not fully cooked. The corn was cold. The roll was hard. We were supposed to get cheery pie, but got a small piece of White cake with white icing that was very dry. No coffee. Drink choices are water tea or lemonade. I was not able to eat anything on the plate. I told them the meat was not cooked, but they did nothing. They did not have time to do anything because they had to get back on stage. Horrible everything. Don't waste your time or money...
Read moreJackson & Katie were our encouraging adept guides. My party consisted of me, my husband, 10 year old boy, 10 year old girl, 5 year old girl. Also 4 others I didn’t know. (Don’t go if you are squeamish about getting fairly close to 11 other people you may not know.) Course was well planned and well executed by the guides. Length, height, & speed was gradual and explained concisely but with good content. My daughter rode TANDEM with Katie. It went very well. With the slow progression of the Ziplines, I was more and more at ease as I was able to see them less and less. Being 5’2’ and 190 lbs I was concerned about comfort in the harness. But the whole ordeal was pretty zen and comfy. I had no problems getting around and maneuvering for the activity, even with arthritis in my hips. I highly recommend this place. Cindy at the weaving shop was THE SWEETEST and very helpful with the knitting-type kits we bought. My only negative about the whole day was the man who checked us in. He was gruff and rather RUDE, in mine and my husband’s opinion, when I asked if there were any potty stops...
