Overall our experience was good. My kids enjoyed themselves. Lights were well decorated and lots of activities for ages 4-8. I would definitely recommend as a one time family experience.
However, we went to the wrong side of the park due to GPS taking you to their zipline entrance. No problem, we were unsure and had never been. We asked an employee for help and he was a total jerk. Had we not already paid online, we would of left and chose to spend our money elsewhere. Once we made it to the correct ticket booth, we stood in line for 45 minutes to get our armbands. I suggest making people get out of line to fill out their waiver, instead of holding up the line. A seperate line for online orders who completed their waivers would be helpful. There was only one employee checking people in, which is insane on a weekend. Similarly, we waited 30 minutes in line for hot chocolate. 45 minutes for the hayride. Line out the door for Santa (who was great!). For the price paid, you shouldn't have to wait in line every single turn. We would go to sdc if that's the case. Maybe the staffing issue was just lack of preparedness for the pretty weather, but I'm not sure we would come back to...

Read moreWe really enjoyed the indoor game room this year. It gave us a place to go in and warm up some before going to enjoy more adventures at the North Pole. The only thing I would change is the picnic tables near where hot cocoa was served. Not trying to complain. We went with our adult children and grandson and stopped for some cocoa to warm up. Not thinking us girls and grandson sat on one side of the table. The table was not bolted down and my grandson ended up wearing his hot coca. He was alright though and we had a great time. Thank you for all that you do each year to make the Christmas season a bit more magical. We also enjoyed the big story pages to read. We will be...
