Fantastic trail! A hidden gem with lots of different bird calls in the air, and history along the way. It’s advertised as a loop but really it’s an out and back with a circle loop at the ends. The overlook at the end is perched atop the last wild hilltop on Cape Cod Bay in Brewster. In 2000, Ruth N. and Mary-Louise Eddy generously donated these 32 acres to the Brewster Conservation Trust. At 50 feet above sea level, it is the highest bluff between Sandwich and Wellfleet. From here, on a clear day, you can see the entire sweep of the Bay from Plymouth to Provincetown. It’s absolutely gorgeous!

A nice loop for someone who just wants a breath of woodsy air without the commitment of a long hike. The walk took about 20 minutes, and I was treated to a lovely view of the bay halfway through. I enjoyed the various informative signs along the way. I went during the off-season, so I had the place to myself. Free parking was available.

Great little walk that takes about 15 minutes. It is a one way in and out path with a small alternative section. That takes you through the holly trees. At the end there is a great view of the bay. The view is from the power plant in plymouth to the tip of the cape. On a very clear day you can see the monument in P-town.

A true town trail. Just the right length and a great treat at the end. This is an out and back again trail that goes through a dying scrub pine forest that is transitioning to oaks. The end point is a magnificent overlook with a sweeping vista of Cape Cod Bay. On a clear day one can see the Pilgrim Monument and the Sandwich Canal power plant with Plymouth in the distance. Always worth it to watch the interaction of the wind, waves and sky while getting...
