When we screened in our porch several years ago, we installed wooden doors. In an effort to be cost conscious, we convinced ourselves that less expensive doors would be just as durable as Seaport Shutters custom built Mahogany doors. Not true! Five years after we installed the less expensive wooden doors, they fell apart. (The humidity at our Wellfleet home is no joke!) Because the doors came from a big box store, we had no recourse but to replace them. We called Seaport Shutters and ordered our screen and storm doors and they were built to order and installed this past January. They are beautiful - well crafted and painted with a custom color to match our home’s accent color. Fast forward to this Spring and early Summer - we noticed that the doors were sticking and rubbing due to the humidity. We reached out to Lauren at Seaport and a wonderful repair person was at our home two days later remediating the install for free! I heart Seaport Shutters - they are the best! The folks at Seaport Shutters are wonderful to work with true professionals who will help you from start to finish - they are great!! - This business uses the finest materials/paints - beautiful hard ware and the craftsmen who make these custom products are artisans - beautiful work - they set the bar for sure. I had a storm door installed with the compass rose design at our cape house a couple of years ago and it still is lustrous and dreamy I just gave it a little "fall clean up" and the door looks new! Recently Seaport Shutters installed another storm door at our home on Beacon Hill - and it is so gorge, I swoon every time I walk through it. I would absolutely give this business ten gold stars if possible - 10++++ go to their showroom on cape and you will see what I'm talking about - outstanding products endless options all beautiful beautiful beautiful - it's hard to narrow down a design bc they are all fantastic - but once you nail it - and place your order - you can sit back and prepare to be wowed - Seaport Shutters will not disappoint...

Our property is truly transformed, and reflects the signature look of Historic Harwich Center. Seaport Shutter Company handled everything from our initial consultation, through color ideas, all the way through to installation (see photos). The shutters we selected are flat panel style, finished with five coats of Benjamin Moore Baby Seal Black. They are adorned with Seaport Shutter Company’s signature 23 Karat Five Point Gold Leaf Stars. We fell in love with them because Seaport’s products are manufactured right here in their Chatham workshop, and are beautifully displayed at their showroom on Route 6A in Brewster. Their staff was an absolute joy to work with, and totally understood our needs, being in Historic Harwich Center’s Business District.
