Jennings Park — Attraction in Brewton

Love this place. You can come out and enjoy the walking trail which leads right by the river or Creek or whatever you call it, so you have that nice view here to. Plus there is a place to bring your skateboard and pay around. There are benches to sit on and enjoy the scenery or to eat a quick bite or just relax for a bit and last but definitely not the least is the fact that this is the only park that I think I have ever been able to go to and enjoy free WiFi. That is the most amazing part too this place to me and so far every time I have every been, this park had bathrooms that stress actually clean and not all destroyed. Well taken care of and always improving the park top make it more relaxing and peaceful and making it a place where the whole family can go to enjoy themselves. I like to sit in parking lot or at one of the benches and just use my laptop and enjoy myself. Plus you have the coffee barista place right there on the border of the park that does an excellent job and there is Churches Chicken right beside it if you work up an appetite. It's not a bad park, but it is Brewton AL, and I think there was a less fortunate individual washing himself in the public restroom and he had all of his personal belongings scattered across one of the picnic tables. He was definitely at the park. I just didnt ask what he was doing in there, but he came out half naked with a towel. Draw your own conclusions if you must. I'm not judging, I've been homeless myself before, but I do know the stats for violent crimes for homeless people are not good. Since my child was there, it merits me deducting 2 stars. My whole family enjoys coming here to Jennings Park. There is always something going on in entertainment or if you simply want to slow down after a busy day and stroll through the flowers and nature this is definitely the place.
