Aquí Market — Attraction in Bridgewater Township

I've been shopping in this twin City , called now Aqui Supermarket for 12 years. But, since there's a new Manager, I don't like to go anymore. My second bad experience was this morning. I was shopping and my kids stopped in the clearance section. They found a candy that suppose to be $0.50 ct. When I was checking out the cashier said this is $3.50. I toll her that was in the clearance section and she said, not, somebody must put in there, but that's a regular price, I asked for the Manager and he toll me: No! that's not on clearance. I asked for the policy. He didn't explain anything to me. He said if You don't like it leave it. He was very nasty to me, and ask me to leave the store. I was very disappointed because I shop there almost every single day. And as a regular customer shouldn't affect to the store to honor a price to a regular Customer. I went to your Bridgwater store yesterday with my family. I needed ingredients for paella.

1. The manager was so helpful. You didn't have saffron, and he suggested Turmeric. He also helped me pick the right type of rice. He gave me personal attention.

2. Your meat section offers so much, and the cuts look amazing. The butcher had me exchange Mexican chorizo for a Spanish one. He also suggested chicken thighs over tenders (and offered to open the package to cut it for me). Plus he gave reasons for both of his suggestions. He's a REAL butcher.

We were the only white family in the store and we did not feel out of place....

Great place for inexpensive canned/dry goods & affordable, diverse, & fresh produce. This store carries smaller, less popular brands than the ones you might find at big chains like ShopRite & Wegmans, which means that the mega-brands they do carry are sometimes priced at a premium. The butcher has an excellent selection & cuts to order. There are also fresh fish & deli section. The staff is friendly & bilingual & the store itself is clean, organized, & well stocked.
