Rude Hispanic worker named Miriam who rang up my items today. I simply asked her how come she scanned one item and 2 prices showed up? She began to get defensive, angry, and annoyed. I tried explaining to her that I only bought one 6 pack of noodle, but why when she scanned it, 2 different prices showed up. She kept arguing that they are different items. I tried explaining again that she scanned the item once and both prices popped up. She didn't want to hear me so called for management. Management told her it charged me for 1 single pack and a big pack of 6 and for her to fix it. Then Miriam got upset and every item after that, she scanned and purposely tossed or threw on the belt. My veggies and items didn't do anything to her. I told her that she didn't need to do that to my items and she yelled back saying she is just doing her job. I told her no, she is purposely throwing my stuff. My husband is a quiet and patient person. By then he has had enough. He told her that he is right in front of her and she's being so disrespectful throwing our stuff. She rings her bell for management and we tell her Manager what happened. She didn't do or say anything. After my husband paid, she threw the receipt on the counter towards him and let it fall backwards to the belt. What an ugly attitude and work ethics. Miriam must do that often. She shouldn't be working there anymore if that's the case. I'm disappointed in the way their employee behaved over a "question". I guess I can't even ask anything. How ridiculous! Owner's should reconsider her working there because her actions reflects them as they are the front face of the business. But, I'm sure the owner's won't do anything about it. That's what is sad. I guess I'll be going to support the smaller Asian...

Formerly a regional-chain grocery store now converted to a store focusing on selling East Asian groceries but also attracts a large customer base of African immigrants and, to a much lesser degree, some South Asian immigrants.

As a former regional chain grocery store the building itself is exceptionally large for a grocery store focusing on East Asian foods.

Because of this there is a very large variety and diversity of foods, especially "fresh" meats and seafood. Plus, this store is competitive for pricing.

The major drawbacks are the terrible stocking of the shelves in the frozen foods section, specifically eggroll wrappers. The individual boxes for one brand of eggroll wrapper, Simex Lumpia wrapper from the Phillipines, was so haphazardly arranged that the individual packages themselves looked like someone had already opened them and the entire section looked as if a tornado had gone through that area.

Also, in the fresh produce section, which is extensive, I purchased Jicama on at least two separate occasions spending at least $10 each time, and upon bringing them home and cutting into them discovered they were all rotten and spoiled with splotches of brown throughout the root vegetable, which should be white like newly-fallen snow.

Lastly, almost without exception, there is almost always a long wait, of about 10 to 15 minutes, to check out at...

Absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service, the professionalism of the staff, the smell of the store and the pricing of the products. When you first walk into the store it recks with a heavy fishy smell. Most of the prices are good value, however, the main reason for this Post, it that I picked up a items that specifically stated that the product was $1.99. When I got to the checkout, I watched the lady ringing up the items I had in my cart, the specific items was 50% higher than the price on the shelf ($2.99). It wasn't a sale item or anything, I was appalled by the two staff employees responses. When I told her that the item was supposed to be the corrected price. She literally said, "Do you not want the product then?" The second person ran with the product somewhere into an office and can back and stated, "You are wrong sir". I told him I would gladly walk him over to the aisle and show him the price labeled on the shelf. He said, that "that doesn't matter, whatever it rings up as is what it is. Do you still want it?" This is the worse customer service and a store I will not be using ever again in the future. I prefer to shop in community owned stores like this one, whenever possible. However, they broke the fine line between okay customer service and garbage service. DO...

This store is messy. I could never figure out the price of the items I want because there is no price tag. None of the staff there want to help you. When I bought a box of raw shrimp, and couldn't find the expiration date, I asked the cashier. She said the store loads new items in every month so don't worry! How could I??? Your words are nothing to me because they didn't guarantee anything! But on the bright side, this store has everything an Asian family could rely on. Well, I guess we have to accept how we are treated because this place is the only place we could get what we want! For example, one time I saw a manager and a new staff, I tried to reach them because I couldn't find any bean sprouts. The manager said do you want a whole box, yeah maybe 5 boxes. I said I just wanted 1 little bags. I mean if you looked at his expression you will know he tried to humiliate me like "if it is 1 little bag, then never disturb a manager like me" Great! I need some humanity, please! Because in this place customers are treated like animals in puppy mills - they stuffs you up with what you need either with expired items, then make money out of you. This is horrifying!!!

This Asian store has its pros and cons. On the positive side, they offer a wide variety of fresh produce, canned goods, and essential Asian ingredients that can be hard to find elsewhere. Their prices are quite reasonable compared to other Asian markets in the area, which is definitely a plus. However, the store has a very noticeable odor, likely from overdue meat, which makes the shopping experience unpleasant. The cleanliness and handling of perishables could really use improvement. Customer service is also lacking—staff are either unavailable or not very helpful, which can be frustrating if you're looking for something specific. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you know what you need and want to get it at a fair price, but don’t expect much in terms of atmosphere or service.

Love the fresh fish and meats, reasonably priced, has all you need, from fresh seafoods, to jewelry and gifts, plants and spices from around the world. It's a field trip in itself, one of my favorite places to shop. So many different types of fruits, and vegetables and different sized fresh shrimp, squid, octopus and More! Weekends are special, fresh fish and clams, snail, squid, octopus, are displayed on ice for a staff member to help you choose what you want! Utmost Freshness! Love this store! !♡♡♡♡♡Also has many types of rice, and flours, so many items, You just Need to come and See for Yourself!
